| Asistnt. Regional Manager ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah, finally did it. I know you've waited years for this, but it just couldn't be with Roy in the picture, you know? Plus, I was with Karen when I returned to Scranton, but that didn't go too well. Obviously I couldn't do it the night we sent Toby off, not after Andy popped the question to Angela, and I paid for those fireworks. But yeah, there it is. And then there's the others. I knew it wasn't a good idea to tell them. You never know how they'll react, or if they will react at all. Certainly not like how they reacted when Toby sent out that memo about public displays of affection, but I did it for Pam. Look where that got me: on the floor with Michael. She owes me for that. Yesterday was Jan's baby shower, but the baby was already born so it was more like a meeting, and just as awkward because Jan began to sing. In a way, I wish Pam was there, but then I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy. Yes, it was that bad.I'll admit, there's a few strains on our engagement. I don't get to see her as often as I would want to. Things are a bit off, but that's normal, right? I mean I just-- I just miss her. A lot. |

Don't really care about the Pam-Jim longdistance relationship at all, I just don't really relate to it and Jan calling out Michael's bluff on Holly was just too great. As manipulative and insecure as she is, she seems to know Michael inside out. Last edited by Captain Beefheart; 10-18-2008 at 04:43 PM.. |

Michael's way of asking Holly out was a bit "eh". I mean, the hugging was sweet, but the way he said it: "Wanna go out?" that's like middle school talk. I guess it fits him. ![]() | |

| Newbie | I'm not sure where they're gonna take the Jim/Pam dynamic now. They seem to be together, and happily so, which is good. I'd hate to see them go the cliched Ross/Rachel route. However, what this does mean is that the characters are going to get stale and boring. I'm hoping the writers have a way around this. |
