"We've always made it clear we'd love for her to do more," says a 90210 spokesperson. "There's definitely a possibility for her to come back." Similarly, Doherty's rep, Gary Mantoosh, told the AP, "If the CW comes back with an offer for additional episodes, she's happy to consider it." In the meantime, the buzzed-about reboot has extended Jennie Garth's run as West Bev guidance counselor Kelly Taylor, adding five more episodes to the half dozen the BH90210 alumna has already filmed. http://www.kren.com/Global/story.asp?S=9009932 Aubrey O'Day Turned Down 90210's Front Seat Sex Making the Band 4's aubreyyikes.jpgperennial fashion "don't" Aubrey O'Day recently told OK! magazine that she was offered the role of blow job girl #1 in the 90210 pilot. Remember that scene where lacrosse star Ethan was getting it on with an anonymous girl in the front seat of his SUV? That could have been Aubrey! All would not be right with the world if she passed on the part because of her morals, but thankfully that wasn't the case. Instead, it was merely a scheduling issue. "I was up to play a part in that show but I ended up doing Broadway," said O'Day, who is currently playing Amber Von Tussle in the musical Hairspray. "I can’t remember her name, but I can tell you what the script was that I read. It was the girl who was giving head to the boy in the car and she’s the lead in the musical." Wait, so the biatch doing the deed with Ethan was the pillhead who's stole from pal Naomi to pay for her habit? I didn't catch that the first time around. http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/ilo...wn-90210s.html |

There worried that both of them who keep making the tabloids for weight issues and with pictures of the 90210 stars smoking, that it will set a bad example for the teen audience. The Parents Council has already weight in on the issue. ![]() |

Sep 22, 2008, 07:47 PM | by Michael Ausiello As I was perusing The CW's just-released press release announcing the full-season pickup of 90210, I noticed the most peculiar thing: Those crazy kids buried their lead! In the final sentence of the bulletin, the network quietly mentions that veteran Gilmore Girls scribe Rebecca Kirshner is joining the series as an executive producer. And it gets better. After I did some digging, a 90210 source confirms to me exclusively that Amy Sherman-Palladino's longtime collaborator will not just be sitting in the show's writers room, she'll be running it. (And yes, contrary to speculation, the show does have one of those.) Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah, meanwhile, will continue to serve as show's day-to-day showrunners. In announcing the 90210 pickup, CW prez Dawn Ostroff says, "The successful addition of 90210 has taken The CW another step forward in building a cohesive schedule that defines this network as a destination for young women with shows that get our audience talking -- and watching. We're very excited about the chance to watch this ensemble of newcomers and familiar faces coalesce and grow together as we move forward." Exactly how many familiar faces will be sticking around 90210 remains an open question. As I reported over the weekend, Jennie Garth is denying that she has agreed to stick around beyond her initial six-episode stint. "Nothing's confirmed at this point," she told me. "It's still totally up in the air." (That noise you hear is Dawn Ostroff telling her assistant to get Tori Spelling's reps on the phone.) |

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Jessica Walter has been dropped as a series regular. That's the bad news. The good news is that the MVP won't be leaving the show. Not yet, anyway. A 90210 insider says while it's true that Walter's contract option was not picked up for the second half of the season, the Arrested Development grande dame has agreed to appear on a recurring basis, her schedule permitting. "Fans have not seen the last of Tabitha," assures executive producer Gabe Sachs. "We love Jessica." According to my moles, the decision to take Walter off contract was made purely for financial reasons. As the show continues to evolve, it didn't make sense to, as one 90210 insider puts it, "pay her all that money to utter two funny lines an episode." Instead, 90210 will continue to invest in headline-grabbing vets like Shannen Doherty, as well as characters that drive story, such as Jessica Lowndes' Adrianna (who was just made a series regular). Ironically, Walter's status change comes as 90210 is about to morph into a show more worthy of her considerable talents. Upcoming episodes under its new exec producer, Gilmore Girls vet Rebecca Kirshner, have been a "vast improvement," raves a setsider. "The writing is sharper and the characters much more interesting." And with all the dough they'll save on faux vodka -- not to mention what already has to be a minuscule craft-services budget -- maybe now they'll be able to afford Luke Perry! * 90210 can't get the real Dylan McKay, so what do they do? Create a character that fits his description and then name him after his portrayer, Luke Perry. Duh. Producers are casting the role of Luke, an impulsive, sexy, charismatic, mysterious bad boy who differs from every other guy on the show in one key way: He's not a total pretty boy. |

My dream of a 52-episode Gossip Girl season is moving closer to reality. Two weeks after extending GG's season by two episodes (from 22 to 24), The CW has informed exec producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage that it wants to tack on one more for a grand total of 25 episodes (and counting). And this time, The CW is spreading the love around. Sources also confirm to me exclusively that the net has ordered two additional episodes of One Tree Hill and 90210, extending both shows' seasons to 24 episodes apiece. Tree Hill has been a surprise success story for The CW. Despite my best efforts to destroy it, the six-year-old soap has been on a ratings roll, posting double-digit gains over last season and consistently building on its Gossip lead in. Not too shabby. And 90210, while off its initial highs, has become a solid (if not spectacular) performer among its target audience of men and women age 18-49 who work at Entertainment Weekly young females. | Newbie | It all went down outside of MyHouse nightclub, when a group of guys including Brandon Michael Vayda — who plays Mike on the show — got into a screaming match with another group of guys over something that was probably stupid and meaningless. All of a sudden, a couple of guys from each group began throwing punches at each other while Vayda stood and watched. But moments later, after the other group retreated, Vayda stormed into a taxi, and threw several elbows and punches at one of the guys. Vayda managed to take the guy out of the cab and onto the ground, where he continued to rain down on the guy with a flurry of bombs to the face. Eventually, the fight was broken up. No arrests were made. Article Source: 90210 News and Spoilers |
