An edgy, contemporary spin-off of the iconic drama "Beverly Hills, 90210," the new "90210" looks at life through the eyes of Annie Wilson (Shenae Grimes, "Degrassi: The Next Generation") and her brother Dixon (Tristan Wilds, "The Wire"), whose first day at West Beverly Hills High School leaves no doubt they're not in Kansas anymore. The Wilson family, including dad Harry (Rob Estes, "Melrose Place") and mom Debbie (Lori Loughlin, "Summerland"), has relocated to Beverly Hills to keep an eye on Harry's mother Tabitha (Jessica Walter, "Arrested Development"), a feisty-but-faded former television star and a charter member of the Betty Ford Clinic.

For Annie and Dixon, the awkwardness of being the new kids is made worse by the fact that their dad has taken a job as the high school principal. The school is one big culture shock for Annie, a sweet and friendly girl with a passion for the theater, and Dixon, a star athlete and scholar who was adopted by the Wilson family after they took him in as a foster child. Annie and Dixon have a close sibling relationship, which they'll need to help them cope with all the new cliques and classmates, including Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord, "Nip/Tuck"), a hot, spoiled, rich girl; Ethan (Dustin Milligan, "Runaway"), a popular jock whose abilities rival Dixon's; Navid (Michael Steger, "The Winner"), an aspiring journalist who heads up the school's daily newscast; and Silver (Jessica Stroup, "Prom Night"), a rebel who produces and stars in a YouTube-type video series.

Even the faculty seems hip and sophisticated at WBHHS, such as smart and funny teacher Ryan Matthews (Ryan Eggold, "Dirt") and beautiful guidance counselor Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth, the original "Beverly Hills, 90210"). Kelly's former classmate, Donna Martin (Tori Spelling, the original "Beverly Hills, 90210"), owns a local clothing boutique. The Wilson family has just begun to realize how much their lives are about to change.

"90210" is produced by CBS Paramount Network Television with executive producers Gabe Sachs & Jeff Judah ("Freaks & Geeks"). Mark Piznarski ("Gossip Girl") is the director and executive producer of the pilot.

So, what did you guys think of the first two episodes?

I enjoyed it. I really like the character Silver and the teacher. He's sooo hot. Naomi annoyed me a bit. Loved seeing Kelly and Brenda again, and Nat. The Peach Pit sure looks different.

This remake bears only it's name in common with the original. I found it tedious and boring. The characters are supposed to be high school students yet they look like they have finished graduate school. I won't be wasting my time on it.

A side note; Jennie Garth still look hot at 36.

lol Yes Jennie always look good. She is a very pretty women. (I love watching Tori an Dean reality show lol Yes I am a geek)
I have it taped I am going tp watch it in a lil while.

So far I have only seen the premier episode. I dont know yet, it didnt open as my favorite show. I like Silver, Lori, and Jennie Garth, im not sure yet about the rest of the cast, I know there are a few I really dislike. The story line seems less dramatic then The O.C., I cant see where its going.

I really enjoyed this weeks episode. It was better than the first two. And it had a little bit more of feeling of the BH 90210. It was also good to see Silver en Kelly's mom again. I still don't care for the character Naomi. She just annoys me. I hope she gets written out of the series.

Its getting better. Im going to stick with this show. There isnt that much drama to it but somehow its still entertaining.

This weeks episode wasn't as good as last weeks episode. Was cool to see Brenda again, and Nat. So Dylan is Sammy;s father. i so saw that one coming. Hopefully we'll get a Luke Perry guest appearance sometime this series, cause that would be awsome.

According to my sources at the CW network, executive producers have approached both Luke Perry and Jason Priestley repeatedly over the past several months. Both have declined to reprise their roles as Dylan McKay and Brandon Walsh, respectively.

Luke Perry is keeping up a busy schedule of other television guest appearances. In addition to his role on SVU, he will appear on Criminal Minds this season as a dangerously imbalanced polygamist cult leader who takes one of the BAU agents hostage. Former teen idol Priestley, for his part, has been directing television, including episodes of ABC Family's hit The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

As for another original 90210 guy, I spoke to Brian Austin Green last week about whether David Silver would be joining ex-stepsister Kelly Taylor, ex-stepmother Jackie Taylor (Ann Gillespie) and half-sister Erin Silver (Jessica Stroup) in his old ZIP code, and he told me, "I've talked to them, and it's really just a timing thing right now. I am kinda busy. I am on Terminator." (Green is a series regular on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, playing John Connor's cranky uncle-from-the-future, Derek Reese.)

So, do you think Sammy will be OK without a papa in the picture? Will Kelly carry on OK without her baby daddy?

^I really thought he would have. He was on Law & Order last night.

The last episode was pretty good. That one girl is pretty evil.

And Naomi, I dont like her as a bitchy character or a good character. She cant do ether.

is it just me or does anyone else notice that Silver is the hottest chic on the show.And when is the cool kid gonna return we all want to see Luke Perry return thats the reason everyone is watching the show!

Loved the Dixon/Silver stuff. Thay are cute together. Couldn't care less about Naomi's family drama. Don't like Adrianna. I really hope her part is done on the show.

I like how this last one ended. I hope she doesnt come back. I dotn like the actress and I dont like her character.
