Thanks for the video! I'll check it out.
I like the movie score for Twilight but unfortunately, I haven't bought it yet because it still costs around 18 €. Too expensive in my opinion. I bought the normal soundtrack (i.e. with Paramore, Linkin Park etc. and Rob's song 'Never think') because it was cheaper.

How about you guys?

Same here, the price for the score was expensive in store so I just got it off itunes for 9.99€. A lot better deal although I do prefer having an actual physical copy I just thought it's better than paying almost double the price.
Hopefully the score and soundtrack for New Moon will be a little more reasonably priced in stores this year!

Thanks for the picture, Laura! So this score isn't by Carter Burwell... I love movie scores! Often great soundtracks can save a bad/average movie, in my opinion.
Yeah I can understand you because I love collecting CDs!

I don't think, though, that I have as many CDs as Edward has in the movie.

I just love all this stuff, e.g. the booklet, the jewelcase and of course the CD itself. I think I'll wait till the score is cheaper.

movie scores usually stay expensive and usually never come down in price. unless someone decides to put them on sale. i've always wondered why? but the regular movie soundtrack usually stays at a low price.

as for the release date of the OST has been changed. It's no longer coming out on the 20th. The release date has changed to................................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............October 16, 2009.........................so everyone go out there friday and get it days earlier than expected.

Yeah unfortunately you are right, scores stay mostly expensive. For example, the magnificient score for Schindler's List is still at around 17 € here although this (wonderful) movie is already like sixteen years old. Anyway I can remember I got the score for the French movie "Amélie" for only 6 € instead of approx. 16 € because there was a sale.

I looked on the German Amazon-website, and they do not sell the score yet, it's only available as a US-import. The soundtrack with the songs will be available on 16th October, though. Yay!

Has the soundtrack been pushed back? We got a notice at work saying that this and some other things were pushed back, but they didn't give a new date.

Um...that's strange. Oh well. I have a funny thing where I don't buy the soundtrack until after I see the movie. I don't know why I do that, but I just do.
