Did Anybody Notice In Movie....

At the part where Edward tells Bella that he wants her to meet his family and right before he leaves, that you can hear his accent? I didn't catch it until we were watching it on Sunday night. I probably didn't catch it the first time I watched it because I didn't know he was a british actor until after I watched the movie. Just wondering if anybody else caught that. I can't remember what he was saying when I heard it, but I could hear it.

When I first heard it, I was watching it with my family and I'm like "I just heard Edward's accent!". And my Mom's like "Rewind so I can hear!", but I didn't because it wasn't all that important and I don't think she could have picked it out.

you can hear his full accent in one of the harry potter movies. i think it was goblet of fire. he played cedric diggory. i believe he dies at the end. sorry if i ruined it in case you haven't seen it.

He played Cedric. ? Ty Rim I will rewatch that film. I think the guy who played jasper was really really good. I mean he actually looks hungry for blood.

The first time I saw the movie I did notice the tweeked accent. I mean, I think he does a great job, and I believe he's mentioned he had no actual lessons either. But especially that scene by the truck, you can tell he's not REALLY Edward from Chicago

Yep, he played Cedric. I didn't know it was the same person until a few months ago and so that's probably why I didn't catch that part in the Twilight movie before. But other then that, I think he did great with his American accent.

No, I guess I gotta watch it again.
But I did notice the author, Stephanie Meyer there in the movie, playing a costumer in the restourant, wearing a pinkish reddish sweater.
And, as I mentioned somewere before, I also noticed how, Bella had wrong part of her leg in the cast, she had her tigh bone broken, and it was her tigh that was treated at the hospital, but it was her lower leg in the cast.

I've only watched it a couple of times, but I recall it was her lower leg/ankle that was broken. And a piece of broken mirror was in her upper thigh (they had too make a tourniquet for it). What they never brought up again, was the bite/teeth marks on her wrist, I guess Dr. Cullan took care of that?

I didn't noticed that Stephanie Meyer was in the movie! That's cool. I'll have to watch out for that. Wait, which resturant? The one that Bella and her dad went to or the one that Bella and Edward went to?

Yes Stephanie did a brief cameo, she was sitting at the counter with her computer, at the restaurant with Bella & her dad.
She didn't want a talking part & she didn't want anyone to be able to see her computer screen, it's on the special features disc.
