In a way, I kind of perfer the movie. Mostly because the scenes aren't so long and they don't take so long to explain something. I like the book, too because I found out way more in the book then I did in the movie and stuff in the movie makes more sense now. But I'd have to say, movie. What about you guys? |

The character development, particularily of the secondary characters, was much more thorough in the book. Besides, when you read a book, your imagination allows you to elaborate on the characters and plot, something a film does not allow. |

I mean, I love the book and everything, and the characters are definitely more elaborated and interesting... but the movie really completed it for me. The visual effects are amazing, colors, costumes, make-up, music, etc. I love the way the book was rewritten, it could easily have been really cheesy, lovey-dovey, and teenage'y, but it's not. ...it's hard to decide. |
