Which Is Better - The Book Or The Movie?

Which one do you like better? In a way, I kind of perfer the movie. Mostly because the scenes aren't so long and they don't take so long to explain something. I like the book, too because I found out way more in the book then I did in the movie and stuff in the movie makes more sense now. But I'd have to say, movie. What about you guys?

i think similar and the movie is done so well and i'm happy they made it but i love the book(s) - but of course we can watch the movie more often than reading the book(s)... so i think it's an undecided...

Definitely the book. The character development, particularily of the secondary characters, was much more thorough in the book. Besides, when you read a book, your imagination allows you to elaborate on the characters and plot, something a film does not allow.

Well, I read the book after I watched the movie. So, I would just imagine the characters in the movie.

As much as I loved the movie I have to go with Book.
But then again it is very rare to make a movie better then book.

Uh.. I like the movie more than the book. Sometimes I don't have the patience to read a book especially if there's a boring part and if I saw that movie before

For me..
the book is better..
im kinda disappointed on the movie
many scenes we're taken away....
but still
the movie is good!

I voted 'movie'. I mean, I love the book and everything, and the characters are definitely more elaborated and interesting... but the movie really completed it for me. The visual effects are amazing, colors, costumes, make-up, music, etc. I love the way the book was rewritten, it could easily have been really cheesy, lovey-dovey, and teenage'y, but it's not.

...it's hard to decide.
