OMG, last nights episode was awsome. Psycho Derek is so freakky. Matt Barr played the part so convincenly. I didn't care much for the Rachel parts of the episode. All the Naley parts were so cute. Love how protective Nathan is over Haley and the baby.

The fifth season of "One Tree Hill" will be unprecedented in the annals of television drama, as the show leaps forward four years. Season four ended as the young characters graduated high school and season five begins post-college, four years later. Some of the characters have found success while others have failed. Some are the same, some are very different. And while their storylines will actively move forward, the show will also dip into the past, returning to incidents and events of the last four years, sometimes for a moment or a scene, other times for an entire episode.

It's been four years since the gang left Tree Hill and many things have changed. With the help of his editor Lindsey (Michaela McManus), Lucas published his first novel 'An Unkindness of Ravens,' and now works on his second. Along with Skills (Antwon Tanner), Lucas also coaches his former high school basketball team, vowing to take the team to another championship. When Peyton (Hilarie Burton) graduated from high school, she loved two things: Lucas and music. Did leaving Tree Hill for an internship at a record company in Los Angeles change her mind about either passion? Or did her time away from Tree Hill simply make her two loves stronger? Her best friend Brooke (Sophia Bush), was chasing her dream of becoming a top fashion designer with her clothing line 'Clothes over Bros' Four years later, Brooke has found some success, but at what cost? 5.02 Racing Like A Pro
Tensions run high as Lucas must face his past and choose his future, all while discovering the demands of coaching the Tree Hill Ravens. Haley makes the decision to hire a nanny (guest star TORREY DeVITTO - "Beautiful People"), which will bring much-needed help into their home. Plus, Haley's first day of teaching turns out differently from what she expected. Meanwhile, Jamie (recurring guest star JACKSON BRUNDAGE) sets his sights on a Soap Box derby race and enlists Skills to help him out. And Mouth's excitement about his new job is tempered by his demanding new boss.

5.03 My Way Home is Through You
Lucas's editor (guest star MICHAELA McMANUS - "The Beautiful Lie") wonders about Lucas and the timing of his recent creative inspiration. Brooke and Peyton make business plans, while Mouth tries to win points with his boss, Alice (guest star KELLY COLLINS LINTZ - "Surface"). Meanwhile, Lucas and Skills finally make some headway with the Ravens, and Nathan tries to wrestle free from the legacy left by Dan (former series star PAUL JOHANSSON). Plus, KEVIN FEDERLINE ("CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Britney and Kevin: Chaotic") guest stars as a problematic musician.

5.04 It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)
While Brooke makes plans for Clothes over Bros, Peyton finds she has her hands full when the musician (recurring guest star KEVIN FEDERLINE) she just signed turns out to be problematic. Meanwhile, Haley's own interest in music leads her back to the recording studio. Nathan tries unsuccessfully to corral a defiant player, Quentin (recurring guest star ROBBIE JONES), and Mouth's relationship with his boss grows heated.

I'm soo loving this season. I'm glad they decided to do the 4 year jump, Cause now they are closer to my age.

Jamie is the cutest little thing. He's a great addition to the cast. Love his interaction with all the cast members. Especially Skills & Lucas

Chad was so crazy hot as a coach. he´s look says it all. HE looked old and kinda ugly in the forth season but now he´s back to the old Chad/Lucas

Well, we finally know who Brooke's mother is. This can become interesting. I'm glad Nathan has stopped feeling sorry for himself and finally shaved himself. Now all he needs is a haircut.

I'm glad you like it. Last nights episode was a little boring. Especially the first part. I;m getting really tired of this whole Lucas/Peyton drama. The second half of the ep was better. Victoria's reaction when she thought Lucas was proposing to Brooke was hilarious.

Does anyone know which date Jimmy Edwards and keith dies, the schools shooting.
Cause on Jimmy's grave it says march 1 2006 and on keith's it says 23 someting.
BUT Their whole senior years goes over two seasons, 3 and 4, and the third begins with the senior year starting. And on it's christmas in episode 10 season 4. which means if they died march 1 then the schoolshooting had to been in season four or season 4 had to be the year after the graduate.
So you can see it's kind of complicated but the bottom line is that they had to write a random date on his grave.
Thats screwed up .

The OTH timelines are so weird. Sometimes there is a one day span for multiple episodes, and with other episodes it's different. It's better not to think about the timeline :p
