April 30th Episode - "Five Years Gone"

Oh, you guys don't care anymore. But this was a really good episode.

I saw it! It was pretty good. I loved the 'five years later' concept. Kind of gives you a glimpse of how everything will unfold. Now I'm excited to see how everyone gets to where they were in this episode.

I loved the five years late episode. However I looked away when my girl Hayden was getting sliced. The next episode looks great as well.

I'd love for them to continue the five years later concept in another episode. I want to see what happens to them all! It's kind of like its own show, because the regular continuity episodes are following this bomb thing, and five years later the bomb has already come and gone and they're dealing with different problems.

This show makes me feel like a kid again. It's really just that fun. I liked some of the personality changes, especially Peter, Hiro, and Parkman's. Future Hiro is one hard badass, and Peter's scar is cool.

Exactly how many powers does Sylar have now? I know he's not as potentially powerful as Peter, since Peter only has to be near someone to gain their powers, and Sylar seemingly has to kill them and examine or consume their brain to know how their powers work, but damn, they're both so god-like now. Not even counting the powers he has in "Five Years Later," he has:

1. Telekinesis
2. Ice blast/freezing
3. Super hearing
4. Liquify solid objects
5. Paint the future

He also seems to be able to mess with people's minds, because he's done that "he's not there, but then he is!" trick to sneak up on people, like when he escaped the lab.

One thing I like about the show is that all the future predictions have come true in one way or another. I like that even though we know the outcome, we still don't know the circumstances that lead up to it. For example, how does Peter become the bomb? Does he run into Ted at some point? In the current timeline, Bennet, Parkman, and Ted are on their way to New York, where Peter already is.

Judging by that little energy battle Peter and Sylar had at the end, it does look like they encountered Ted. And since Sylar has similar powers, it's might be safe to assume he killed him.

I thought Peter's power was more like Claire's mom than Ted. If Peter blew up, it's obvious that Peter encounters Ted, but I'm not sure about Sylar.
