Default It's almost over! Book 7 countdown.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 21st July 2007.

Not long now!

Have you got it on order? Will you be in line at midnight for your copy?

Have you got the weekend set aside to read it straight through or do you want to savour the last of Harry's adventures?

It's good to have friends who have friends who work at Barnes & Noble. My sister pre-ordered 2 books.

I'm not a fan, nor have I read a book, but I do appreciate the movies and storyline, very well made.

theres a walmart where i live thats opened 24 hours a day and well it's a new storre so for the last three books they've never really had any more than 10 people waiting to get the book. they don't hold any parties or stuff like that so i'm guessing that why they don't get a lot of people in there. but for me it's been so easy to just get the books. i just walk in and go to the back of the store walk by the stacks of harry potter books grab one and go pay and head home to read it. it'll probably be the same way this year. everyone seems to go for the barnes and nobles and hastings midnight parties. i prefer it nice and quite. i can't wait to get this last book. where i work we already received the books but they're being kept in the stockroom. the boxes have that whole "not to be sold before july 21" we opened one of the boxes, i don't know but the book doesn't look as thick as the last one, but then again i didn't have the last book with me to compare. yes were were tempted to go straight to the last chapter but no we didn't. i'm going to wait until midnight on release day. man won't this week go by already.

I've never done this before but I'm thinking of heading down to the supermarket at 12ish, not to cue, I hope... but just to get that copy. Actually 2 as my daughter and I can not share... it's going to be a race to see who finishes first! We both love it despite the connection we have with the main character.

Price Wars!

Morrison's is nearest but they're not opening at midnight.

Here are my guesses... hidden in white just in case anyone gets offended!

Turns out it's not Harry who must destroy Voldy, but Neville.

Snape is good but dies to protect Harry.

Viktor Krum returns to help and whisk Hermione away.

Of my 3 predictions (in my last post, in white) I got one dead right, one half right and one a bit right.
Highlight them if you want some spoilers!

i'm barely on chapter 11. i don't get enough time to read so when i do i just lose myself in it. the whole thing with dudley at the start well all i can say is that after i read that chapter i decided to watch the order of the phoenix movie and i saw that scene involving dudley. and it just made that chapter much more.......meaningful.

by the way i was watching the news and they had a report on the new book and how hundreds of them were not printed correctly. these books are missing several chapters. this error starts at page 370 and goes on to somewhere around the 400 pages. instead of the proper chapters these books have previous chapters repeating again. it was a mistake at one of the places the book was printed. it was suggested that if anyone has one of these books that they don't return it and instead just buy another one. reason for this is because the book will be considered a collector's item and worth some money. they were saying to not be surprised if you start to see these books selling on ebay. books with mistakes are often times considered very valuable much like postage stamps.
