| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I guess Cheng hasn't given up on getting what he wants out of Jack (which seems to be more about classified information than who ordered the attack on the consulate, since that was pretty much Jack's thing on his own). Since torture doesn't work, the only resource he has left is Audrey. Yeah, a billion Chinese vs. hell-bent on revenge Jack Bauer = China is screwed. The only flaw (and it's a big one) this season is that all the focus on the supporting characters hasn't really mattered in the big picture. CTU is turning into a big soap opera, with Morris "going off the wagon" and the will-they-or-won't-they stuff with Milo and Nadia. Who cares? At least when Tony and Michelle had their initial sexual tension, it was more or less to keep themselves sane. These people are acting like CTU is freaking high school. Bill needs to toughen up and lay the smack down. At least Chappelle, jerk that he was, knew how to keep people focused on the task at hand. They're making Chloe seem normal. Doyle is a useless character. Apparently now, he's a sadist with a heart of gold and a touch of existential anxiety? I liked the direction they're taking Wayne Palmer in, and Lennox has proven to be an amazing character. I also liked that they came out and had Wayne say, "I'm not David Palmer." I think a lot of people didn't like him just for that fact alone. Although, we seem to get as many sociopathic Vice Presidents as we have moles in CTU (Logan, Daniels). |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | After last night's episode, I'm pretty certain that both Cheng and Doyle need to die. Cheng for obvious reasons, and Doyle mostly for being an idiotic douche. It's also painfully apparent that this season was not as well-planned as last season was. Oh, well. 24 is like sex and pizza: even when it's bad, it's still pretty awesome. |

Daniels is just ridiculous now. I'm guessing the Jewel doppeldanger assistant is going to end up being the mole. Why else would they want to bring up the fact that she and Daniels are together? And I swear Jack got less screen time in this episode than other I can remember. |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Jack's had less screentime this season than he ever has. I'm not opposed to featuring supporting characters more, but it should at least be interesting people in an interesting story. This season really has neither. Killing Curtis and Assad was a HUGE mistake. That tension should have been boiling for a few episodes, not just one. And Chloe, one of the best supporting characters on TV, is taking a backseat to Morris the Alcoholic, Sassy Brit, the Milo/Nadia soap opera, and Doyle the Jack Wannabe Douche. All while Bill does nothing but answer the phone. Where's Jack's dad? They started that whole family drama and just left it like we were supposed to forget about it. WHAT OF CHARLES LOGAN?! It's been a disppointing season, really. After the masterpiece that was Day 5, it's sad to see it take a dip. |

| Senior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | There's been so many times this season where I've thought they were going a certain direction, only to be dissapointed when they didn't. The first four episodes were epic and then the following few just didn't seem to keep the same tone. More recently, I loved the idea of Wayne Palmer going insane as president. There was so much mileage they could have had considering Tom and Karen had been convincing the senate that he was of stable mind. A crazy president that couldn't be impeached, that might have been the only thing that could top evil Charles Logan. Then they go the easy route and just "coma" him out. Really after that, they should have just given up on the Presidential side of things for this season. Find a way to get Tom into CTU for whatever reason, they you've got rid of the weakest aspect aspect of the show and added a strong character to help the second. |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well, Daniels is kinda crazy, so you may just get your wish. Like I've said before, I do appreciate them giving more time to supporting characters and including some political intrigue, but they've made Jack pretty much a guest star in every episode past the fourth. |

So Palmer's out, Bill is out? why? with only four hours left what is the sense. So the last four hours is trying to get the chip back BFD. All I can think of is they are going to set up a cliffhanger to carry into next season beacuse right now there does not seem like enough interesting stuff to have a good ending for this season. |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This episode didn't really go anywhere except to make Daniels look like a p*ssified doofus/dirty old man. Good thing Tom Lennox still owns so much. I thought it was funny that they had Heller actually mention the Jack Bauer Curse: "everything you touch dies." That had to hurt, coming from Heller, who is someone Jack respects. |

| Mu nótahu ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The whole show is just running in loops right now. It's gotten to the point where I just stream the episodes and put my headphones of for dialogue until I sense something interesting it's going to come on. Hard to believe there are only 3 episodes left. The whole pacing of this season has been terrible and pointless. The season started out well at a fast pace and then it just hit a wall around the time Logan got stabbed. It hasn't gained any momentum since then. Expectations are rising after some weeks of mundane unimpressive meandering. |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've heard they're going to revamp for season 7. I hope this means an entire day of Jack going rogue in his pursuit of Cheng (if he doesn't get him this season), stopping only briefly to foil yet another terrorist plot somewhere and maybe visit Kim for some Chinese food. You'd have less CTU, and an epic body count. You could even have Bill Buchanan and the government on his tail, then when they arrive at the aftermath of a Jack Attack, he could examine the carnage and simply say, "yep, Bauer was here." |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Okay, WTF?! There's only 2 hours left and they're treating this like a mid-season lull. CTU is attacked AGAIN?! Hell, they might as well just seal the place off with a screen door and a key under the welcome mat. They f*cking kill MILO?! CTU Agents are this generation's Star Trek Extras. AND WHAT HAPPENED TO CHARLES LOGAN? |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Remember, tonight is the two hour season finale. Let's see how they wrap this up. Unless part of the revamping for Day 7 is Jack continuing his search for Josh or something. This season had a lot of good stand alone episodes, but as part of a larger story, this season has been the worst. |

Everyone else is expendable. Someone always infiltrates CTU, There's always a mole in the White House. CTU Always arrives 5 minutes late. At the end of this season we were left with Jack thinking about killing himself (at least that's how I took it). We know that won't happen until his contract does not get renewed. They did at least end this season without too many loose ends except Chloe pregnant...WHY?...Did Jack's father die on the Oil rig ? What ever became of Logan?. You're right, overall this season did not come close to previous years. |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I thought for a second that Jack was gonna kill himself, too. The man literally has nothing left. Didn't warrant a silent clock, though. Those are EARNED, damn it. I'm still pissed that Edgar got one and Tony didn't. One of the flew but glaring flaws in Day 5. I did like Jack's confrontation with Heller, though. He told him off but good. "I'm not interested in what you think this country owes me." Jack's such a f*cking hardass, I'd love to see him negotiate at a car lot or something. |
