| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The whole Morris-is-an-alcoholic thing with Chloe is getting old already. Although having her barge into the men's room and telling that other guy "not now!" was hilarious. I love Chloe...she's just so socially awkward, like a real tech-nerd as good as she is would be. I'm actually also starting to like Tom Lennox more and more. I'm guessing Assad is partially blamed for the attack on Wayne, but Lennox helps clear his name. Also, more Powers Booth! Even with his limited screentime, Gregory Itzin proved why he was completely robbed of his Emmy last year. He was fantastic. More Logan! Bring back Martha and Aaron Pierce, dammit! And where the hell is Mike Novick? |

WTF is Jack doing, torturing the Ambassador in his own consulate. He's gonna end up dead before his contract with Fox is over.. The VP is one mean hardass. He'd kill his own mother if he suspected somerthing with her. I can't believe he hooked up with Palmer. Those are two completely differing opinions. Looks like next week (or tonight) Martha and Pierce are back...and it looks like they've hooked up. |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Day 6: 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM I thought this was a pretty solid episode. Jean Smart and Gregory Itzin were great, of course, and it was good to see Aaron Pierce again. I love how the guy just never seems relaxed. LOL. I'm already not liking Doyle. He seems like a Jack wannabe, especially when he choked Morris. I did like that they were able to get Suvorov's permission to storm the Consulate, though. It's nice to see politicians actually cooperating every once in a while. Although it seems Martha Logan's conversation with Mrs. Suvorov took about 5 seconds, with another 10 seconds for her to convince President Suvorov to let CTU do their thing. Tom Lennox is awesome. It'll be interesting to see what happens with him and the Vice President. |

Found it too predictable and formulaic for even 24 standards. Doyle is the archetype over-agressive new authority figure this show has consistently introduced over the years who's going to eventually become part of the inner circle (see: Buchanan, Hayes, etc). Beyond that, not near enough Jack. And PLEASE don't let Itz... er... Logan die... This guys is BY FAR... my favorite 24 character and the best actor on the series. |

Man the VP is a real hardass. and I 'm sorry, I can't accept Ricky Schroeder in a tough guy role...he needs to have some milk and cookies. So, how many minutes after the plane takes off will CTU show up to the airfield? |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Day 6: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM I didn't really care for this episode. Yet another mole in CTU? Do these guys ever do background checks? It's obvious it's not Nadia. No update on the Logans? So, if a former President is stabbed by the former First Lady it WON'T make national news? Especially after he flatlined last time we saw him?! No way is Audrey dead. And if she is, how much hell is Jack supposed to take? What's next, the cougar comes back and eats Kim on Jack's birthday? Where's Philip Bauer? You'd think the authorities would be looking for him. Why is Vice President Daniels such an uncompromising douchebag? And in what world is he allowed to just say, "we're bombing your country, no matter what anyone says." Is his character just a dig at President Bush or **** Cheney? I mean, other characters at least at some sort of rational point of view, but Daniels is just nuke-happy. I know that 24 usually has some lulls before getting back on track, but the emphasis on useless subplots this season has been ridiculous. Let's hope they tighten things up soon. |

I think bringing up the whole Audrey thing is stupid. He's back from prison for 12 hours, been tortured a few times and stopped a couple of nukes, when were they supposed to have time to tell him. I really hope they start to pull this season together. |

I see next week he's back at work. A couple of years ago they did this with Tony being shot in the neck. Nobody heals that fast. So, they got the Russian, will we get to see some real torture here? |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | "Damn, Jack." That's all that needed to be said. Doyle is now part of the Church of Bauer. Great episode. It really purged most of the crap that's been holding this season down after, what, 3-5 or so mediocre episodes? Bringing back the China problem is brilliant. Can't wait to see Jack get his revenge. Now all they need to do is wrap up the storyline of Logan, Martha, and Jack's father. |

I am SO glad the nuke story arc is done. That fight at the end was the best fight scene I can remember seeing on the show ever. Doyle had a hard on after witnessing the aftermath of Jack's carnage=TEH WIN. |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It's not really out of place. I don't think Cheng wanted to give Jack back to the United States in the first place. This is his way of forcing Jack to "pay" for what he did in Day 4 even more. He knows that torturing Jack is useless, and the only way to get to him is to threaten his loved ones. I don't see Cheng surviving the rest of the day, though. Screwing with Jack's family is worst thing on Earth you can do. Just ask the Drazens ![]() |

He already outsourced using him as a bargain chip. I have mixed feelings about Audrey coming back. Part of me is hoping she doesn't make it and Jack goes on a 2 continent killing spree to get revenge. That would be fun. PS: On the general pace of the season, and on the last episode. I think at it' s best 24 gives the viewer a sense of helplessness which leads to suspense. At it' s worst, it relies on forced set pieces of action to motivate the viewer to keep watching. At least when it's dealing with side characters you don't know who is going to die or what is going to happen next, whereas everytime it becomes the Jack Bauer PWNAGE hour you know he isn't going to die so it' s just a matter of how many people is he going to take out this time. |
