The duo had been with the show since its first season and were known to have led the day-to-day production operation under the direction of creator/executive producer Tim Kring. "Heroes," produced by Universal Media Studios, has struggled in the ratings its third season. It's understood that Alexander and Loeb were let go because of NBC executives' frustration with the creative direction of the show. The trade added that the show is also said to have been dealing with hefty budget overruns this season that are going well beyond its already sizable $4 million per-episode pricetag. |

| Member of Sylar's Army ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | it was bound to happen. the two top guys always get blamed for failed ratings and idiotic storylines. it's amazing that everything that's happening right now on heroes can easily be stopped simply if hiro had just time traveled back and stopped himself from opening the safe. heck everything can be stopped simply by time traveling back in time. horrible writers are to blame. yes these guys have done great work before but looks like they just got lazy when they arrived at heroes. hopefully new writers can finally make these characters smart instead of making them stupid like they are now. it's a fun show but really i get annoyed at all the times something can be resolved easily. biggest problem i've had with the storyline so far is the direction they're taking sylar. he better not become one of the good guys. he used to be the real threat of the show, now we find out there's someone even worse than him, his own dad. it's also obvious he's not on his dad side even though that's what it appeared like in the last episode. he's up to something, hopefully for his own purposes. |
