| Member Newbie | WARNING: IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED IN THE SEASON PREMIERE THEN DON'T KEEP READING Or maybe he is their half brother. If Mrs. Petrelli was one to get around with Hiro's father, she probably got around with someone else. Or yeah, Gabriel Grey is the 100% the middle child of them. It makes sense in a way, Sylar and Peter being alike. Believe or not, the thought of Mr. Petrelli being Sylar's father had crossed my mind when Sylar visited his mother and pointed out his father's old clock. I thought, "Okay, either his father died, or took off." Seems like a great twist unraveling, which I do like, thoe I'm sure it will piss off a lot of "hard to please" people who would call it a "shark jumper." But they said the same about Nathan being Claire's real father, so I don't care, I'm cool with this twist. Does Future Peter have the "Illusion Power" like Candace? If he does, he didn't need to put on the cap and jacket to be incognito, so I'm thinking maybe Peter is able to change only the illiusion of his past and present look. I'm hoping maybe that's the case. Hell you think Candace's power still doesn't work for Sylar because he was disabled in gaining it that time? It seemed like maybe he was using the power to hide himself out of site from Claire, or maybe using telekinisis to make himself levitate up and around and above her. Okay...we now know Sylar doesn't eat the brains to gain power. My close caption doesn't work on my TV, but it did it sound like Sylar tore a piece off of Claire's brain? If he did, does it seem like when he holds it, the power/DNA just goes right into him like a drug injection? Since he didn't need to take out Claire's brain, I imagine that maybe with all his past victims, he probably destroys the brains, so nobody else will get to have them and use them like he did. If that's what he does, it reminds me (since he is a serial killer) of something horrible the Green River Killer did with his victims after he killed them. I won't say in detail what, but let's just say his reason for it was, "Hey it was my property, it was so that nobody else would have them," despite that they were dead. Interesting that Sylar was horrible to violate Claire like that, yet also polite to put the top of her head back on her. It just makes him such a multi-layered antagonist. Borderline genius I thought it was. And him telling Claire she's different than the others, I think by that he also means he can see potential darkness in her like him, and after all, they are related. It all reminds me of "Dexter." This episode had great highs, but great lows, the biggest low I can't help feel disatissfied with is when Mohinder shows off his new ability in front of Mya, showing that his sex drive has also heightened, and later showing that his body is getting all gross and infected. It's all right out of the re-make of "The Fly" from the late 80's. I'm sorry, I love "Heroes" to death, and am not one to be over the top, but it was all so ovious, I thought, "Come on writers you can do better than this, I know you can." This was a mistake that I hope will get better as the season progresses. |

| Member of Sylar's Army ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | someone on another forum was saying that's it's possible that mohinder becomes something called Uluru. i'm not familiar with this being but supposedly it contacted both mohinder and isaac in the webcomics. seems uluru is some kind of lizard like monster/creature and mohinder suddenly peeling his skin like a lizard might be a tip off of that creature character. as for sylar he's my favorite character next to hiro and claire. but it seems that they're building his character up for something big. i keep thinking he'll be an in-betweener. yes he's bad but he'll suddenly start work on the heroes side probably for his own reasons. by what i've seen sylar does appear to be peter and nathan's brother and there was a rumor some time back that a character would be revealed to have been adopted. in next weeks episode a bank is held up by some super powered folks and mama petrelli sends HRG and his new partner to handle the situation. like it was mentioned in a past episode there's always the normal guy and the super powered person as his partner. supposedly HRG's new partner is sylar under the control of angela petrelli. but who knows i cant wait. also that formula that hiro is trying to get? if both parts are put together and figured out it could lead to the end of the world. but how? i keep thinking that the formula has already been discovered by mohinder. he's figured out how to give normal folk powers and maybe that's what that secret formula is all about. |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I love Heroes, but too many of the characters are retarded. Suresh, Hiro, and Peter being the worst offenders. How come they let Peter demonstrate multiple powers, but Sylar rarely does? He has telekinesis, ice blast, melt stuff, super hearing, radioactivity, and apparently the ability to turn invisible or at least hide himself in plain sight, plus Candace's power. I still want the epic Peter/Sylar showdown we're all waiting for. |

Interesting. Also, I think this is interesting for everyone else to think about: The "Symbol" ![]() I think it's a genetic marker in any "Heroes" genes that allows them to be identified as such. Cause after tonight's episode it would make sense it would be, though I still can't explain how it would appear centuries ago in Adam Monroe's time on his sword & still be a symbol of genetics that would continue to show up through time with no explanation of what it means specifically. Cause if you notice very closely a majority of characters have the same exact power. EXAMPLES: Daphne Millbrook - Super Speed Agent of Possible Future - Super Speed D.L. Hawkins - Phasing Samir Mellouk - Phasing Charlie Andrews - Enhanced Memory Matt Neuenberg - Enhanced Memory Hana Gitelman - Electronic Communication Richard Drucker - Electronic Communication Molly Walker - Clairvoyance Unknown Woman in Connecticut - Clairvoyance Tracy Strauss - Freezing Unknown Victim of Slyar's - Freezing Echo DeMille - Sound Manipulation Level 5 Inmate Jesse - Sound Manipulation Niki Sanders/Jessica Sanders - Super Strength Level 5 Inmate Knox - Super Strength Meredith Gordon - Pyrokinesis Maarten - Pyrokinesis Level 5 Inmate Flint - Pyrokinesis Elle Bishop - Generate Electricity Future Ando Masahashi - Generate Electricity Isaac Mendez - Precognition Usutu - Precognition Matt Parkman - Precognition Maury Parkman - Telepathy Matt Parkman - Telepathy Nathan Petrelli - Flight West Rosen - Flight Clarie Benett - Cell Regeneration Adam Monroe - Cell Regeneration Almost the same power, but slightly different Sylar - Intuitive Aptitude Peter Petrelli - Empathic Mimicry |

| Member Newbie | Okay, I was a bit pissed at first thinking the continuity was messed with when Future Peter was killed taking 2 shots to the chest, when we all know he can regenerate. But then after watching the ep a second time, and noticing the Haitian was in the alley with them, I figure "Okay, perhaps that is why Future Peter didn't heal. But the Haitian's power is mental manipulation that can keep people like Parkman, Hiro, and Sylar from using their powers, cause they use them by focusing with their minds. But Claire's regenerating seems more biological, NOT mental. And I figure with Evil Claire walking up to Future Peter's body, he'd be automatically healing up. Suppose the Hatian's presence was keeping Future Peter's body from automactically feeding off Evil Claire's power. But it is lame thoe that they were superemposing a black spot over Mutant Future Mohinder's face. When he say's "Do not repeat my mistakes" a black spot is clearing visible over his face, and when he's moving sidways, it covers over that metal fixture that stands between him and Peter. It's cheap, and tacky, and I can't believe the sloppy job they did with that. |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You can't believe Heroes did a sloppy job with their storytelling? LOLZ. How come Peter didn't heal from the cuts when the Haitian left the room? Why did Sylar suddenly lose control of his powers in the future when part of his power is the complete understanding of how they work? Do the writers even watch their own show? |

One thing I know about Heroes is that the beginnings of every season will always have these huge WTF moments that inravel and become clear as the season progresses. Example: last year everyone was puzzled by Nathan looking in the mirror seeing a burned angry Nathan. Fans thought he may have had a Nikki thing happening, or a Illusion power happening. | Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Dude, the entire show is made of nothing but WTF moments. It's ridiculous, but makes it more fun to talk about ![]() Can't wait to see Mohinder as a giant spider/cockroach thing. I'm guessing he turns out to be the "thing worse than Sylar" that rescued Sylar in the season 1 finale. Remember the cockroaches? Yeah, they were there in Mohinder's future lab, too. And can someone please explain to me why Claire keeps hating on her powers? She can heal. Big whoop. It's not like she has a tail or anything. She's not dangerous. |

Can't wait to see how that plays out next week. Nathan, Peter, & Sylar's father is the leader of the Villains, very interesting. ![]() Can't wait to see how Hiro pulled off killing Ando & making both Daphne & Knox believe he actually killed him without hesitation. |

| Member Newbie | Like I said, WTF moments that are fun to make theories out of till it all unravels, giving you that fun feeling of clarity. Dammit I still want to know how Nathan was healed if Linderman was never really there. Heroes Fans are already debating who was born with a power, and who was given one. They are already calling the people born with powers, "Pure-Bloods", and people with given powers, "Converts." If those are official slangs for the Heroes-universe, I don't doubt that Peter and Hiro are pure-blood. Last edited by room217; 10-15-2008 at 03:02 AM.. |

And lastly, I really like how Peter, Sylar, & Nathan's father has a much more powerful alternate version of Peter's Power. | ||

| Member Newbie | Tonight's ep "eris Quod Sum" is oviously the one that begins where Hayden Panneiterre starts wearing a wig, since she cut her hair in that hot little bob months ago. Not that it's a big deal, I'm saying the wig in this ep is so ovious, and they have to have that because of her haircut, would be weird for Claire to suddenly decide to get a hair cut in the midst of chaos happening. And it's cool that Sylar seems to be going all Snape on Peter, trying to gain Arthur's trust. And how cool is it we get another ep this season that's like the "6 months ago" and "4 months ago" ones, showing what happened earlier. |

Cause Hiro found a couple of points in the past time line that all happened before events & during events of the 1st Season where he could have gone back & possibly fixed or made things even worse, like Future Peter did, during his Spirit Walk. |

| Member Newbie | "I've killed a lot of people Elle, your as much to blame for that as anyone." As Sylar stated in "Butterfly effect." Damn it's trippy when I think back to that part, who knew there was more to that line than anyone thought. I thought he was referring to her inadvertent letting him escape from "Powerless." Impressive continuity in everything. Makes me want to watch the first ep of season 1 again. Dammit I hope Arthur hasn't stolen Hiro's power. I don't want this to be where all the good guys are powerless for the rest of the season. PLEASE don't have it like last season with Sylar. |
