Bob's Ability is Alchemy(Transform the chemical composition of materials). He showed his power to Mohinder in the 1st Episode "Four Months Later".

One of the original group that formed The Company might have the same ability Molly has or they could have found someone else between Season 1 & 2 that we have yet to be introduced to that is now working for The Company that has the same ability as Molly.

Why the hell are Claire and Mohinder being so god damn stupid?

Claire is suddenly willing to do anything West wants her to do, even though she KNOWS it's dangerous. It's not like Noah isn't credible or anything. She's suddenly willing to put her family in danger just to have a boyfriend? Claire is smarter and more mature than that. They've gone out of their way to show she's more "with it" than most teens in the first season. Why is she retarded now?

Speaking of retarded, Mohinder sells out Noah to save Molly, and will basically believe anything anyone tells him.

Kensei/Monroe turns evil because Hiro kissed the girl he liked? WTF? I can understand him being pissed off, but come on...better motivator, please?

More Sylar. Less Nikki.

Nightmare Man went out too easily. A guy who can control your reality is an AWESOME villain. Matt basically goes "you suck, dad!" and puts him in a coma. Bleh.

I agree we need more Sylar because he fun to watch. I don't know what they've done to Claire because last season she was a smart, mature girl but now they have her acting like a spoiled little princess. Maybe because the writers have been mad is the reason this season hasn't been very good?

well we won't be getting more sylar this season for two reasons. one is obviously the strike. the other is cuz zachary quinto (sylar) is leaving to play mr. spock in the new star trek movie. so because sylar is only going to be in a few eps this season they needed someone else to be a threat and that's kensie. although this year i think the only that can stop him will be hiro. also i don't think claire is the cure to the virus, i'm thinking that has something to do with maya and alejandro. so basically they should have just written claire out. but that would have been bad news to hayden fans. the only thing her story revolves around is the whole west hates HRG thing.

THE WORLD-SAVING STAKES SHOULD HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED SOONER
The premonition of nuclear apocalypse created a larger context that unified every story line last season. Kring now sees that Volume 2 (the first 11 episodes of season 2) would have been better served if Peter's vision of viral Armageddon had appeared in the season premiere rather than episode 7. ''We took too long to get to the big-picture story,'' he says.

THE ROOKIES DIDN'T GREET THEMSELVES PROPERLY
New Heroes Monica (Dana Davis), Maya (Dania Ramirez), and Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) ''shouldn't have been introduced in separate story lines that felt unattached to the show. The way we introduced Elle (Kristen Bell) — by weaving her in via Peter's story line — is a more logical way to bring new characters into the show.'' (That said, Kring says a few newbies won't make it beyond this second volume, which wraps Dec. 3.)

HIRO WAS IN JAPAN WAY TOO LONG
Hiro's (Masi Oka) time-bending adventure in 17th-century Japan — where he mentored samurai hero Takezo Kensei (David Anders) — finally came to an end on Nov. 5. But Kring says it ''should have [lasted] three episodes. We didn't give the audience enough story to justify the time we allotted it.''

YOUNG LOVE STINKS
Kring regrets sticking Claire (Hayden Panettiere) with a super-dud boyfriend and forcing Hiro to moon over a cutesy princess. ''I've seen more convincing romances on TV,'' he admits. ''In retrospect, I don't think romance is a natural fit for us.''

Yet while Heroes has finally found some dramatic traction, this second volume is pretty much a wash. The Dec. 3 episode has been retooled to function as a potential season finale — a move inspired by the writers' strike and a desire to give the show ''a clean slate'' when it goes back into production for Volume 3. At that point, Kring wants to craft a rebooted Heroes that can attract new fans and win back those who've tuned out: ''The message is that we've heard the complaints — and we're doing something about it.''

--well if and when the third season shows up i'm hoping characters like monica, alejandro and maya and super dud boyfriend west are all gone. they bring nothing to the show. all it took was a strike to get tim kring to think straight about the state of the show. well i hope he and the writers do a better job in the third season. that way we can pretend the 11 episode 2nd season never happened.

At least Kring can acknowledge the missteps the show has taken. I think the mistakes seem more glaring because Volume One pwned so much.

It's been a disappointing couple of years for me regarding my favorite TV shows. First, 24 goes down the tubes with an abysmal Day 6, now Volume 2 of Heroes is a dud, which may not even get to redeem itself because of the WGA strike. Sad.

Well I'm glad that Tim is willing to admit that this season has been a bust. Most people wouldn't do that. All the new characters with the exception of Elle have been a dud and should be wacked. I just want it to be good like last season and now that Tim knows we're not happy I'm sure it will be whenever it starts back up! Just stick with the characters from season 1+Elle and all will be well again.

Wow, every single thing in that Kring interview could have come right from this thread. Every piece of that was said here. Its worse then that though, there simply has been nothing this season.

This whole season is a wash, I dont think there is one character that added anything to the show, maybe with the exception of Mat and Clairs dad, the only 2 people actually doing something. There hasnt been one cliffhanger or anything making me anticipate the next week. There has simply been no story until the end of episode 7, and im not sure it looks like its going to be that good.

Personally, I thought Clair was a whinney brat last season. So, i personally dont think that this seasons Clair is to much of a stretch. Maybe if half of you people would get over her looks and pay attention to what she did last season you wouldnt see much of a diffrence. If you need or want examples I can give em.

I actually liked the interaction between Hiro, Kensi, and the princess. But what do I know.

Season 1 was really slow for the first 12 episodes, expecially after watching them again on DVD, it was actually kind of painfull to watch the first half of the season again.

Maya and her brother do need to go unless they are going to be doing something major this season. My wife hates Maya because she thinks that she is really really dumb and way to trusting of a perfect stranger. She thinks her brother has more of a womans intuition than Maya. I agree.

I think they could do some really cool things with Micha and his cousin. But I agree with Niki needing to go. They sould never of had Niki and Jessica mend last season, that was really the interesting part of her watching her battle herself.

Anyways, I'm out!

i believe this upcoming monday's episode is called "four months ago"

it takes place sometime between season 1 and 2 and answers some questions. it will even show how DL died. they already did this type of episode last season.

i was just watching E! and it's been revealed that there will be two deaths courtesy of sylar (that guy's awesome). i'm thinking two new characters that really never brought anything to the show. they also said a major character will also be killed by suresh. it could be anyone, but i keep thinking it might be nikki/jessica/or whatever the new personality is.

Well, Suresh killed Mr. Bennett, so I'm guessing that's his "major character." Of course, not even a bullet to the eye can stop HRG. I know Mohinder was an unpopular character, but now I think every Heroes fan is going to be rooting for Mr. Bennett to find the most painful death possible for him.

Please, let Sylar get his powers back. All of them. I want to know what all he can do, since they've never really shown the full scope of his power. Remember, both he and Peter could still have Ted's (radioactive man) powers, which means another bomb is possible.

A word on powers, though:

They're going to have to find some way to limit them. Parkman's abilities seem to have no limits, which would make him nearly unstoppable. How can you stop someone who can read your thoughts and then change them before you can act? Peter is almost godly as it is. Imagine him in 10 years, after bumping into more and more people with powers. He'd make a great series-ending villain. Sylar is even better at controlling his powers than Peter (and can also use them simultaneously, while Peter so far can not), which makes both of them too invincible.

Plus, they're already breaking their own rules. Originally, Peter had to have some sort of connection with the people whose powers he absorbed, and remember that connection is what allowed him to use them. Now he just has to think of them. It's too easy. At least Sylar has to go through the trouble of killing them and examining/eating their brain.

Please, kill the Wonder Twins. PLEASE.

so who's responsible for bringing HRG back? it might be mohinder. he might have known to inject HRG with claire's blood or maybe adam's blood. is HRG now a prisoner of the company and he was brought back for a reason? did "bob", elle and mohinder take him with them when they left the beach? or did they just leave him there and his body was taken by someone else. maybe peter and adam. with adam providing the blood. also it was mentioned that since adam continuously regenerated his cells to heal and such that it's made him practically immortal. does this also apply to claire? did anyone else get the feeling just as claire and elle walked by each other that those two are going to meet up again some day and have a throw down. i can't wait.

I bet that Bob has something to do with saving Bennett. Bob did take an IV bag full of Claire's blood before the exchange, so he possibly used it to save him. Maybe because Bennett could still be useful, or maybe he's not all that evil...or maybe he just wants to placate Mohinder some more, and saving his life is way to reassure him that he is not a murderer.

Or, another possibility is that Bob needs Bennett to recapture Sylar.
