Candice's True Form

The Graphic Novels reveal Candice's true form to be VERY different from the hottie Candice everyone see's. When Nikki super punched Candice out, her illusion of the dead Myka vanished, because Candice was not concious to use her power, her form of Jessica went back to Candice when she got knocked out by Nikki, but shouldn't she have transformed to her "True Form" too? Could this have been a little problem that the creators could not avoid? Like maybe they realized, but couldn't cast an extra of the real Candice?

Her true form was revealed on last night's Episode after Sylar killed her.

Yes I know that's Candace's true form, but that wasn't my question. I asked, "Shouldn't her body have transformed to her overweight self after Nikki knocked her out?"
