"10 Things I Hate About You" Comes to TV

Has anyone heard that they're remaking 10 Things I Hate About You into a new TV series? I'm definitely going to be watching - the dad from the movie is coming back!

Hmmm...do you think he was when they made the movie? The premise is just loosely based on Taming of the Shrew, and many fabulous movies/shows are based on classic works - heck, Clueless was based off of Jane Austen's novel, Emma! Anyway, since it's a TV series rather than a 2-hour movie, I'm sure they'll have to stray a bit from the original TotS story and make it their own. I think the promo for it looks pretty promising so far!

The series premiere is tonight at 8, so I just wanted to remind you all if you're interested in watching! I've been reading good things about it - my US Weekly gave it something like 4.5/5 stars!

I'm glad you like, shopgirl06...because I do too! I think the second episode was even better than the first, so I'm super excited to see if the third one (which is on tomorrow) will follow suit. I have kind of a huge crush on Patrick Verona!!

Did you watch? I just caught up on ABCFamily.com. It was a good one - if you haven't seen it yet, you will fall in LOVE with Kat and Patrick in this episode. And Larry Miller is hysterical...so freakin' strict, though! Especially with the breathalyzer!!
