Cristy is a severe methamphetamine addict/alcoholic who finances her addictions through prostitution. She has ruined her father's rental property, and has such violent tendencies that many of her relatives fear her. Despite an outstanding warrant for her arrest on DUI charges, Cristy insists she'd rather go to jail than go through rehab.
Epilogue: At the end of the original episode, the black screen update at the end indicated that Cristy was thrown out of rehab after 3 days for her disruptive behavior & returned home. Once she returned home she entered jail rather than bow to the pressure of returning for 60 more days of treatment. She was given a choice by the judge at her sentencing for her DUI arrest warrant: Rehab for a year or several months in jail. Cristy chose jail. While in jail, she was able to get clean from both meth and alcohol, but relapsed 6wks after her release. After her release she went to live with friends & continued to use. The black screen updated after the episode was re-aired in March 2008, it indicated that Cristy is now living with "a close friend" in L.A. and is attending AA meetings in an attempt to regain sobriety.
