"Kyle XY" Cancelled

Kyle XY has been axed by cable channel ABC Family after three seasons, it has been announced.

The drama series, which stars Matt Dallas in the lead role of Kyle Trager, will not return following its current 10-episode run.

Kyle XY proved to be a hit with viewers following its debut on ABC Family in June 2006, however its ratings have since declined.

The news follows the premiere of the programme's third season on January 12.

i had a feeling this show was destined for a short run. i watched the first three episodes and then stopped watching. not that interesting.
