Question Did you ever notice . . .

The new is less important stuff you need to know, more crazy psychotic dramatic stuff that you would normally pay to see in the movies?

Its a ratings business for ad revenue. Of course we've noticed . . . the real question is do we care ? Even on a subconscious level do people care? I do that's why I stick with books. Picoult Is one of my favorite authors she always makes a relevant social commentary.

I don't watch the news on TV but I read it in the paper and theres always an element of scandal but sometimes theres good things too. On the other hand I have never read any of Jodi Picault's books but my mother loves them.

I try to avoid the more unsavory new but it can be unavoidable. Furthermore I have never even heard of Jodi Piccoult until i saw a billboard or something for a movie of hers coming out.

I think that psychotic dramatic stuff is what people want. I mean it seems to sell so well. But i suppose that could be because it is under the pretense of being news. The movie is the 10th Circle and its going to be on Lifetime at this Saturday at 9 Here is a teaser

I saw the movie it came on after army wives or i probably would have never seen it. I felt so bad for the mom, because in spite of everything you can tell she doesn't want it to end the way it did. Anyone else get a chance to take a look?
