It started tonight and it was awesome! At first, I wasn't sure if they were going to play it because of the President Bush speach, but then they replayed the episode. I can't wait for next weeks. I was still a little confused because I don't think we got the whole beginning.

"Knight Rider" has 17 episodes left to air before, possible, series cancellation.

Low ratings have prompted NBC to trim "Knight Rider's" order from 21 episodes to 17.

Is the show for sure cancelled? Because non of the commercials they have aired have said like "So many episoes until the series final" or something like that and the episodes to come look really good. Just curious to know if it's really cancelled. Isn't the first season usually shorter then the other seasons anyways? I hope this show gets up in the ratings. Like I said, the next few episodes look really good. I hope if it is over, they end it and not have like a cliffhanger. That would totally suck.

Nope. Even if the ratings go up to the numbers they have been wanting since the beginning of the series they will still cancel it. In the studio's mind they are spending a fortune on the series & losing all of it cause the ratings just aren't there to warrant pumping more money into an already dead on arrival series.

The only way it would survive cancellation is if SciFi Channel bought it from NBC, but considering Paramount Studios owns both NBC & SciFi Channel that will never happen.

Yes, I thought that was him! It sounded so much like him. Even my Mom was like "It sounds like the guy from Transformers". I'm still bummed they are cancelling the show. It's just getting really good now. :( I'll have to tell my Mom that it was Optimus Prime's voice (good guy, right? haven't watched the movie in a while, so I can't remember).

they were obviously taking the show in the direction of the original series. when i saw KARR back it was a nod to the new direction or old direction depending on how you see it. i found the episode cheesy, like the original, but when i heard KARR's voice i just couldn't get optimus prime out of my head. optimus had gone evil.

That's so sad. It didn't say series finale at all, which I thought it would because when "Shark" was cancelled, the last episode they aired, they put series finale down in the info. So, it's weird they didn't do it for Knight Rider. I'm bummed it's over. But they ended it at a good spot.

knight rider is NOT canceled. the network has not released any information saying this. the NBC website still says: Season finale. if you want correct information please visit knightrideronline.com! i love this show, and if you love it too, send letters of support to NBC!
