In a life-altering twist of fate, Mick was bitten 60 years ago by his then-new bride, the seductive Coraline. Forever 30 years of age, Mick is as handsome and charismatic as the day he was "turned," and he eschews others of his kind who view humans only as a source of nourishment. With only a handful of like-minded confidantes for company, including the eternally young, wealthy and mischievous Josef, a hedge-fund trader who relishes his uniqueness, Mick fills his infinite days protecting the living, including beautiful, ambitious Internet investigative reporter Beth Turner. Cast: Alex O'Loughlin - Mick St. John Sophia Myles - Beth Turner Jason Dohring - Josef Kostan Shannyn Sossamon - Coraline Episodes that aired so far: 1.01 No Such Thing as Vampires Mick St. John (series star ALEX O'LOUGHLIN) is a captivating, charming -- and immortal -- private investigator from Los Angeles who defies the traditional bloodsucking norms of his vampire tendencies by using his wit and powerful supernatural abilities to help the living. In a life-altering twist of fate, Mick was bitten 60 years ago by his then-new bride, the seductive Coraline (series star SHANNYN SOSSAMON). Forever 30 years of age, Mick is as handsome and charismatic as the day he was "turned," and he eschews others of his kind who view humans only as a source of nourishment. With only a handful of like-minded confidantes for company, including the eternally young, wealthy and mischievous Josef Kostan (series star JASON DOHRING), a hedge-fund trader who relishes his uniqueness, Mick fills his infinite days protecting the living. But one night years ago, a single act of kindness changed him when he saved the life of a young girl, Beth Turner (series star SOFIA MYLES), making him want to be a better vampire. Now their paths cross again, and Mick feels a distinctive bond with Beth, who has grown into a beautiful, ambitious Internet investigative reporter. Mick knows he can't pursue his feelings without exposing the part of him that would make him a monster in Beth's eyes. As he lives between two realities, fighting his adversaries among the undead and falling in love, he discovers the mysteries and pleasures that a valuable life has to offer. In the series premiere, when a series of vampire-style murders plagues Los Angeles, Mick sets out to find the culprits, and reconnects with Beth. 1.02 Out of the Past In 1983, Mick attacked his client's killer and, during a brawl, revealed that he was a vampire but failed to kill the man, who was arrested. Now, as the convicted murderer from Mick's past is released from prison, Mick must face one of his worst fears: having the truth of his immortal identity revealed to Beth. 1.03 Dr. Feelgood Mick must stop a newly turned vampire who is on a murderous spree. Still reeling from Mick's revelation about his identity, a cautious Beth struggles as she helps him track down the bloodthirsty renegade, who doesn't know how to deal with his killer urges. 1.04 Fever Mick gets injured while searching for a young woman who is believed to be hiding in the desert. As the scorching sunlight depletes Mick's vampiric ability to heal himself, Beth must rush and take drastic measures to save his life. 1.05 Arrested Development Mick hunts a teenage vampire who is preying on female escorts he locates via the Internet. Meanwhile, Mick and Beth try to avoid each other after sharing an intimate moment. 1.06 B.C. Mick searches for a mysterious vampire from Josef's past. Meanwhile, Beth investigates when a model overdoses and dies. When the two cases intersect, Mick and Beth work together. 1.07 The Ringer Mick experiences déjà vu while investigating a fire that is eerily similar to the one that killed his ex-wife, Coraline. The arson, which destroys a historic Hollywood hotel, seemingly replicates the night she died, and Mick's sense of nostalgia grows when a woman with whom he is working bears a striking resemblance to Coraline. 1.08 12:04 A.M. Mick protects a frightened young woman from the cult followers of a killer after they vow to avenge their leader's dying wish that those responsible for his execution be put to death. Recurring guest star TAMI ROMAN appears as Maureen. Recurring guest star BRIAN WHITE appears as Lieutenant Carl Davis. 1.09 Fleur de Lis Beth feels slighted and jealous when Mick begins working closely on a case with a mysterious photographer who resembles his ex-wife. Spurred on by her bruised ego, Beth takes it upon herself to research the woman's background and discovers that she isn't whom she claims to be. | Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've seen one episode. It's a lot like an old vampire show called Forever Knight, which was a lot better. Is there a reason why they have a vampire show where the vampire is only 60 years old? It's not like he has a lot of experience to draw from, and it doesn't give you a deep well to draw stories from. Just based on what I saw, it'll be canceled soon. |

I really don't care that Mick is a young vampire, as I'm not that interested in his backstory. I'm more interested in his present and future story. And most importantly the lovestory. ************ Exclusive! Moonlight Gets Four More Scripts Jason Dohring and Moonlight fans have something to smile about! Sources tell me CBS just ordered four more scripts of the freshman vamped-up drama that's been airing—and building a fan base—on Friday nights. And while that isn't the best news possible (the best would have been a full order of the "back nine" episodes), it is certainly a signal the show is heading in the right direction. http://www.eonline.com/gossip/kristi...sid=fd-kristin Moonlight Becomes Sossamon Shannyn Sossamon, who co-stars on CBS' vampire drama Moonlight, told SCI FI Wire that she's right at home playing a bloodsucker. Sossamon plays Coraline, the sultry, evil vamp who 60 years ago transformed private investigator Mick St. John (Alex O'Loughlin) into an immortal vampire. "I always wanted to play a vampire," Sossamon said in an interview. "Who hasn't? It wasn't because I wanted the fangs, but just as a person—I have to admit it, and I have to embrace it—I love intensity and passion and darkness. Anything that's intense is just really natural for me. So the internal life of a vampire, at least in the mythology, is deep. So I don't have to go far." Roles that another actress might find easy are more challenging to Sossamon (A Knight's Tale). "If I have to audition for a romantic comedy, for a girl who works at the airport, and she's light as can be and simple and walks her dog every day, that's harder for me to get into," Sossamon said. "I think too much. I can't be that light. I'm always intense. It can be off-putting sometimes, and I realize that. So vampires are a natural little place for me." Moonlight airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/index...ory=0&id=44914 Last edited by MickBeth : 10-23-2007 at 09:26 AM. |

My favourite so far. Loved the fact that Beth got to meet Josef. Hopefully we'll get some more scenes with them togethter. Also love the Beth/Mick kiss. they are so my new Buffy/Angel and Michael/Sara. Can't wait till next week. Here is some info on the ratings: September 28: 8.62 million viewers (#2) and a A18-49: 2.5/ 8(#1t) October 5: Viewers: 8.25 million (#1), A18-49: 2.2/ 7 (#1t) October 12: Viewers: 7.30 million (#2), A18-49: 2.0/ 6 (#3) October 19:Viewers: 7.78 million (#2), A18-49: 2.1/ 7 (#1) October 26: Viewers: 8.56 million (#2), A18-49: 2.4/ 7 (#1) As you can see it is almost back up to the amount as it's premiere. If it can keep up the growth to next week, then it will surpass it's premiere numbers. 1.01 No Such Thing as Vampires ![]() |

| I've caught half of the last episode, think it was the 6th. I've been "saving" the eps on my computer because my sister doesn't have time to watch them when aired. We just noticed that Sophia Myles was in this. We know her better as Madame de Pompadour. I think she gave nice performance there. (the horse was a bit too much tho...) [ easter egg for your enjoyment ] |

I'm totally hooked on it. I've seen all the eps like 4 times already. The girl from 40 days 40 nights is in it. But I don't like her in Moonlight. I hate her character with a passion. But thats only because I'm a MickBeth shipper all the way :p |
