The first of what will probably be several big announcements at this weekend's Star Wars Celebration IV, Luscasfilm presented the trailer for the new CGI Clone Wars series.

Honestly I was not real excited about a CGI SW show but this trailer looks interesting. If it were up to me you would have a Star Wars animated series done by the animation team from Cowboy Bebop, but it ain’t up to me.

Not bad, but I think I'd still like the 2D animation better. I liked the more stylized look and feel of it. This kind of looks like a video game now.

I agree with silverspoon, video game into. The mechs look kinda cool but the people look goofy. You can use CGI like the Final Fantasy movies, which I thought looked cool, but with this im not impressed.
