"Drive"

Did anyone catch the premiere of the new fox show, "Drive"? I was bored and gave it a chance considering two former buffy alums were in it. I was pretty entertainted by it. I will be tuning in tonight for episode 3.

Im just leary that the show will be canceled soon already due to the low rating premiere sundaynight.

I wanted to watch this show. I thought it started monday, I missed it yesterday.

I watched in and I thout it was pretty good. However with the less than great ratings it got Sunday I don't think it will last long.

I saw it, and it was alright. there was not nearly enought Riley Smith in it though

This is Nathan Fillion's new show right? I must be sure to acquire myself the first episode. I do love me some Caleb/Mal/Johnny.

i already stated this on the amy acker thread, but fox has officially cancelled "drive" after just three episodes. five episodes were shot and it's not known yet whether the last two will air or not. if they do they might show up back to back by the end of the month or sometime next month. it's another project canceled for tim minear. this guy doesn't seem to have any good luck on him. i actually like the premise of the show, nathan is like the new bruce campbell. heck they should do a movie together someday. amy was said to only appear in three episodes. but she was only briefly seen in the first episode. but on another forum it was reported that amy had signed on for several more episodes as a recurring character. but since the show was canceled it's not happening. i at least hope the last two air. you know i really hate the fox channel. they have introduced so many shows that have potential only to have them axed after only a few eps or even a season (tru calling) i had already commited myself to this show and now look whats happened. fox should just change their name to "the crappy reality tv channel, but we do show 24 just so we can be legit in some way".

Wow RLM, this is news to me. Didnt know it got canned but I figured it would cause I checked the ratings each time. Seems like such a waste of time and money to promote the show just to can it after a few episodes.

But then again I expect it from fox. They suck. I miss shows like Dark Angel, Renuion, Tru Calling and some others.

I agree, good premise and I like Nathan Fillion, but it wasnt done all that well. I didnt care for it, just to weird/unbelievable. I probably wasnt going to continue watching it.

Honestly I don't care if it is cancelled. I saw the first four episodes, and I just got can't into it. It just seems soo slow and there are too many character that I don't care for. The only character I'm interested in is Riley Smith's character and you don't see him nearly enough.
