I love Buffy/Angel. At least the the early seasons. Stopped liking the show when the whole Buffy/Spike ordeal happened. Liked Spike way better when he was bad. Besides Spuffy makes me wanna puke Buffy/Angel all the way.

hehe i really cant fault either programmes i myself would prefer angel than buffy maybe as im a db fan lol

Hehe. Whedon made a mistake when in Spike fell for Buffy. I mean it was good joke but lead to a weird plot. And there were all those BS-shippers so Whedon couldn't get things straight again.

Now that a few years have passed, I begin to see major faults in later seasons of BtVS. The show should have sticked to fantasy and left out the real life issues/the moral forefinger which replaced the comic relief more and more. Did they want to make the storyline more realistic? For me I'd say the single elements didn't fit together anymore. One can't have the real life trouble/sorrow and than those fighthing scenes with diverse demons - it makes the latter look dumb and the viewer who emphathises with the characters finds himself ridiculed by the fantasy-elements.

I almost wish it had ended at season 3, with Buffy dying. None of the other seasons, in my opinion, were near as good. But there were some fantastic episodes that we would have missed out on. :/

Am I the only one who liked the Buffy/Riley match the best? I didn't like that seasons theme, but I loved him! He was adorable, and the best man Buffy ever had. They never should have broken up

Although I really liked some episodes in Buffy season 6&7, I do agree those seasons fell short. For the most part when I watch my DVD's, I tend to end with season 6. Which for the most part was my favorite.

As far as Angel goes, I like all the seasons. Season 3 is probably my least favorite being that Pylia(or whatever that dimesion was called) was just kind of weird, although hilarious at times.

I do very much miss my Buffyverse fix..
