i simply dont get it...

ive watched it a couple times, i dont get how it can tug peoples chains so much. it absolutely requires no knowledge or any sense of ... talent or ANYTHING but yes and no replies to play this game?

Much like the appeal of pumping quarters into the slots in Vegas.. no skill, just luck. I can see why people enjoy the show so much.

I guess you are watching the super hyper US version though, we have the far superior Noel Edmunds presenting in the UK

I dont get it ether. It was the most watched show this week, just ahead of the NBA. Its the most random show, arbatrarily chosing boxes. Its so boring.

i used to watch it everyday when it started a few months back (i stopped when Lucy only won a fiver, i felt that was just shocking) but my mum and dad are addicted, if they're out when its on - they'll tape it *shakes head*

the last couple of rounds are more entertaining than the 1st, when its all or nothing too, i can see why people get drawn into it.

It gets at people because they want to be the ones making the decisions. That's how all these shows work, it's nothing new.

I watch it for 26 reasons, the models. and to watch people go from 100,000 to 10 dollars when they get too greedy. I, in fact started a thread for "Suitcase #3" Lisa Gleave in starlets.

Don't worry, people will get bored of the show eventually and the ratings will drop like rock. The same thing happened to "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" I remember when Regis was bragging on about how it was the most watched game show on TV. More than Jeopardy & Wheel of Fortune combined. Now look where it's at.

it's so funny to watch some times. has anyone tried playing the online game over at the nbc website? the only i don't like about it is that there are no models used in the game. i compare the game like trying to play those scratch off lottery tickets (which i have a lot of luck in, always winning around $20 to 50 dollars every other time or so). funny last night at work they were giving away some prizes but the employees had to pick a number and the one closest to the one the boss had would get the prize. i leaned over to they guy next to me and said "it's like deal or no deal without the suitcases and instead of the models its a little hobbit looking person". i then won by guessing the right number. the prize turned out to be a dumb stuffed animal, a dog.
