Wow, great season premiere. They really set up a lot of interesting storylines, for sure. I love how they balance dark drama and humor, plus the dialogue is great, although sometimes it feels as though all the characters are doing a Denis Leary stand-up routine.

God, I HATE Janet. Blaming Tommy for Connor's death is really weak. But then, she's always been a weak, unholy biatch. I guess it's a strength of both the show and the actress that some characters can be so unlikable.

Can't wait to see what happens this season.

Great show. Funny, witty, vulgar.

I love the twist at the end. You know Gavin is going to kick some ass when he finds out.

I hate they took the girl out of the firehouse....she brought a lot of humor into the show.

I wish this show came on Fall-Spring, instead of this ****ty summer schedule.

Yeah, but at least FX is able to keep at least one good show on at one time, instead of overloading its schedule. There's a lot of competition on the bigger networks, so some of them might have ended up cancelled from low ratings.

The girl did bring some humor, but I think it would have worn thin after awhile. The guys - except Franco - hated her, and there's only so many times she can fall or drop equipment before the audience would've just set "either fry her or fire her already!"

Anyone else think the episode was a tad upbeat considering the events of the previous season? I'd like to see what happened to Shiela's lesbian lover, too.

The promo for The Shield makes me happy, too. I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens.

I've never watched the Shield, it looks good but I hate catching up on something mid-series. Same w/ 24, I hear it's good but I don't want to watch until I see the first few seasons.

I like Gavin when he's w/ his ex-wife more. They make a funny couple. I hate how she blames their childs death on him.

That season finale pulled some emotional strings and it was kind of upbeat...especially w/ the teenager and the hot teacher(hell who could blame the kid?).

I'd like to see Gavin and(I can't remember her name...the widower of the firefighter) get together and start messing around again.
