"C.S.I." - Las Vegas, Miami or New York?

OK, do some of you guys watch CSI? I think, it's one of the best TV-shows ever...

What about you? Do you like it or not? And which 'team' do you like best, Las Vegas, Miami or New York? Or do you watch all teams?
(my fav one is CSI: Miami by the way...)

I only watch the original, Las Vegas. It's one of 3 shows I watch regularly. I'm not exactly sure what it is that makes it so great, but it's got that dark, gritty nature and I really like the dynamics. Plus the science it does present is done in a pleasant way.

Miami annoys the crap out of me. Caruso's character in particular. He's so...overly dramatic, pausing, and that "intense" stare. I can't stand more than a few minutes, and I have endured a few episodes just to make sure it wasn't just a rare thing. Plus, Miami seems more into the group dynamics.

NY I've never seen. It looks good, and with Sinise in it it's probably pretty good.

That's ONE of the reasons why I like David Caruso's character, actually. ;) But well, it's always a point of taste.

CSI: New York is great, indeed. Plus Gary Sinise is one of my favorite actors. I just dunnot watch CSI: NY at the moment, because German TV repeats season # 1 currently, which is getting on my nerves. Can't wait for new episodes.

Never watched the Las Vegas-team because it is airing at a time where I am usually busy... maybe I should borrow the DVDs... yeah, good idea.

Vegas definitely. I agree with Pravus, for me Miami is almost unwatchable because of David Caruso's awful over acting. The way he stands sideways on with his hands on his hips to speak... so... slowly.

Gah!

Didn't really get into NY much, I thought it was overkill to do a third series.

Lav Vegas for me as well, I don't know why I never got into NY it's got great cast, but for some reason I just don't care for it as much.

Ehhh that's weird. I think I read that "CSI: Miami" is actually the most popular CSI-team in Germany. OK, other countries, other tastes, I guess lol.

I like David Caruso's acting, it's really unusual, that's right. He might be strange at some time, but actually, this is no problem to me.

My current favourite is New York, though in the grand scheme of things, it would go Classic Vegas, New York, Vegas and then Miami trailing way, way behind.

I still like the original but it's just not the same now that all of the cast isn't used every episode. I look back at the early seasons and Grissom had such a central role in most shows, nowadays you can have episodes where he isn't featured at all.

NY took a little while for me to get into but once you get to know the characters, you're really rewarded with a show that seems to want to develop the main cast.

Sometimes I can laugh at Miami and have fun pointing out how stupid it is, other times it's a real chore. I don't think Caruso is the only problem though, I think as a whole it's just a very unlikable cast.

Actually, I like how they are spreading out the central roles in episodes. It kind of helps to prolong the series a bit, as focusing on one character all the time, for me at least, eventually makes that character seem less interesting.

It kind of goes along with the psychological studies - varied intervals proves to have the greatest effect on the subject. In this case, varying who is concentrated on helps to prevent viewers from becoming "bored" with them. Again, this is just me.

Yes! He annoys me. And he always gets the last word of the scene, which is even worse.

I only watch Las Vegas because it has Gil Grissom. Grissom is my favourite character. The spin-offs are just not as good.

I watch all three... but I prefer CSI: Miami, aswell.

Yes, Caruso's voice is dubbed, and maybe that's one of the reasons, I actually like the German 'voice' of Mr. Caruso...

Good to see that there are more then you, me and some members of this board.

My fav. CSI is LV.
Miami and NY are okay but...
Well, LV is the original and I love the actors/actresses (I'm a long-term-fan of some of the cast..)

About the german voice of C. - I like it too. ;-)
They choosed the dubber very well

For me it differs which one I like best. Used to be Miami, but then it was New York because of Danny and that woman with huge hair. Now, I'm kind of more into Las Vegas because Grissom and the others are so funny. I just don't know anymore.
