| Server Administrator ![]() ![]() ![]() | hell no, chris eccleston kicked major ass. no he wasnt your typcial dr tho. he kinda reminded me of jon pertwee, where he was kinda witty in an snobby sorta way. at first he was very snobbish, it was he was the best. by the end him and rose had really taken to each other and he grew a bit soft. now i dont think david tennant is going to do a bad job. he is more tom baker-ish which most people love. hes very easy going, kinda giddy...and well being a scot, a unique way of holding himself. sitting here waiting for my downloads :D |

| Kiss My Pom Poms ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Two new actors cast in 'Torchwood' Burn Gorman and Naoko Mori have been cast in the upcoming Doctor Who spinoff Torchwood. The pair join lead stars John Barrowman and Eve Myles in the series, about a team of renegade investigators using alien technology to solve crimes. Gorman (Bleak House) will play Owen Harper, the "raw but charming" medic, while Mori (Absolutely Fabulous) stars as Toshiko Sato, the group's technical expert. “We were lucky enough to work with Naoko in 2004, on the very first day’s filming of the new Doctor Who, which introduced the character of Toshiko Sato in the episode Aliens of London," said exec producer Russell T Davies. "She was absolutely brilliant, and I knew then that I wanted to bring her back!" Of Gorman, he added: “Burn was just dazzling in last year’s Bleak House, and attracted our attention immediately. We beat a path to his door! He’s one of the UK’s brightest new talents, and I can’t believe how lucky we are to get him for Torchwood." The new show begins filming next month for transmission in October on BBC Three and BBC One. Source Last edited by Keri; 04-26-2006 at 06:43 AM.. |

| Server Administrator ![]() ![]() ![]() | just watching the two parter this week....good stuff. David is really making the doctor his. he does still have that tom baker feel to me in his comedy and always totaly getting into things. he throws himself into things. not thats is a bad thing, baker was one of my favorites. david is doing the part well his total love of the human race shows though him in the doctors eyes. rose as the assistant is doing quite well. we all long to have those two finaly break out in a snog but oh well it wont happen. i miss chris as he was a big daunting person on camera. but david has presance of his own...and is down right mean when it calls for it. you can really feel the fear |

| Server Administrator ![]() ![]() ![]() | damn it. i had that feeling of them getting rid of billie as the end of this weeks confidential closed. i love billie. i like the chemistry they have. I mean sarah jane was on the show for a long time, billie has had 2 seasons sure...but we can have her for a lot longer. I hope she doesnt get the Chris E. crap in her head and think shes above the Doctor. if davies is writing her out for something better...sure but it better be GOOD |
