According to www.24fanclub.com 24 is being picked up for a 4th season.....I'm so excited.....and plus Kiefer will be returning............*chills*.

The DVDs will be released December , just before the premiere of Season Four. A couple more snippets of interest:

At the FOX Summer All-Star Party, "24" Co-Creator Robert Cochran confirmed that Jack Bauer will be the only returning main character in Season 4, but Cochran also said to expect the return of most of the former regulars. Cochran also revealed that there is a new President in the plot and he said that fans would be happy with this seasons casting choices. Here is a quote by Cochran from the Post-Gazette. "We felt like we were in danger of repeating ourselves, we wanted fresh characters to keep the show fresh. Tony is obviously in a lot of hot water, but Presidential pardons are not unknown". Cochran went on to say that if Jack ever finds himself in bureaucratic bull**** he will always have the option of turning to the former President for help.

"24" producers are furious at reporters using the word "fired" when talking about the departing cast-members. An insider says " None of the cast-members were fired, because of the nature of our show we only make our main cast-members sign contracts for one Season. The writers and producers have determined that in order for the show to stay innovative and fresh certain cast changes needed to be made. Having the ability to kill off a character at anytime is a luxury we have and fans have grown accustom to that. None of the cast-members were fired and all of them have assured us that they will be there when the script calls for their characters return".

Damn I was hopeing that it would be sooner. I can't wait to hear what Day 4 will be about.
