Day 3 - 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

I thought that this was an excellent season finale.

Jack's last scene was really well-done. I liked everything about this episode except that it didn't do anything with Jack's addiction. It's my only real pet peeve of this show, that they start storyline ideas like that and then just let them drop off.

Other than that, I thought this was a great season.

Now that Palmer won't be president anymore, who will Jack have to work with? It'd be interesting if the next president is not as willing to let Jack do his thing as Palmer was.

Speaking of Jack, the whole Jack-chops-off-Chase's-hand scene was intense.

Also, do you think Tony should go to jail? Why or why not?

Now we have to wait until JANUARY to get our next 24 fix. DAMMIT!

This season has yet by far been the best season yet. I almost cried at Jack's last scene. I am really glad that they showed how much all much his work had gotten to him. And in a way they did a dress his addiction to heroine a little it was when he was talking to Kim at the last minute and he said "I do have some things to work out".

I think Tony shouldn't go to jail but be punished in some way.

I can't wait till this season comes out on DVD.

It was a decent season, especially the second half.

I would have been furious if they hadn't brought Nina back and closed that storyline out. She was my favorite character besides Jack, and was the REAL series villain up until that point. I was disappointed with how they kinda lowered her character to a mindless, coldblooded killer only after the $$$. When she killed Teri, she did it hesitantly, and because she was following orders. She spent 7 years undercover at CTU. I expected her to have a cause or an interesting backstory, because that's how they built her up, but then it seemed like they kind of just took the easy way out.

If you go back and think about ALL the lives LOST and Jack having to shoot Ryan and Gael dying and just the 800-1000 INNOCENT lives lost I think the ending was perfect. Jack sooner or later had to break down and I applaud the ending. I like when writers don't feel they have to bloat the ending just because it's the ending; the way they handled it felt right to me.

I know everyone will have their opinions and angles on this, but that's just my 2 cents. [img]smile.gif[/img]
