Goddamn it! They almost had him but he just had one step ahead of them. And where in the **** are all the twist and turns? I mean I am loosing a little bit of faith in this show. Its not hard to make a bad day but have plot twist for god sakes! They better pull off something major for the finale. And speaking of the finale I heard it was gonna be on thursday? of some date not sure though is this true. [ April 28, 2004, 02:15 AM: Message edited by: Lemmiwinks ]

So, because of a lack of twists the show is somehow lacking? Get a grip, dude. What this season has done better than any of the previous seasons is pain themselves into an "oops-we're-fu<biga>cked" corner and then see how they can get themselves out of it. To me, the only flaws this season is a relatively slow start for President Palmer's storyline. Of course, that picked up a LOT when Sherry and Saunders arrived. The other flaw is the inconsistent treatment of Jack's heroin addiction. Anyway, if the show was all about twists simply for the sake of having twists, it would lose a LOT of its present quality because it would come across as fake and contrived even with the suspension of belief required to watch the show in the first place. At least now it's still a tiny bit credible. Twist after twist would make it ridiculous, and you wouldn't be able to get yourself into a place to care what happens because it's just going to get changed again. Great episode. Grade: A Edit -- I added the AM's to the title so people wouldn't think it's a previous thread. [ April 28, 2004, 02:17 AM: Message edited by: Lemmiwinks ]

No problem with the A.M. Lemmi. I guess I just like the plot twists. Thats what the last 2 and half of this season were. But I guess your right. They are making it a oops we're ****ed again situation. And I guess thats a good angle. Cant wait for the rest of the season. Yeah I have noticed that Jake has gone through his withdrawl stage pretty fast. One other thing that I have noticed is that they havent brought back Kate Warner. I mena it was obsolutly un-needed for them to show her in the first ep. and not bring her back. Oh well.

I had some issues with this episode Jane Saunder's a VIP to CTU would not have been taken to CTU by just one car, there would have been a motorcade and/or additional support. Saunders cannot just walk out because one side of the building was not being watched. They closed down the whole area in a x-mile radius. Michelle..WTF? I would love to have an explanation for that. There must be a mole in CTU. Personal cell's are banned in CTU after the Nina incident - so why did Tony have one? How has Saunders got everyone's cell phone numbers? If he could get the numbers then they should have already been searching for a mole in the system. The situtation however is worse than I could have imagined, tension is building, but a little more explanation would help!

I never really thought of that, Avaya. Maybe they'll address that in future episodes. But didn't Saunders have the police pull out as well as having all the CTU agents move to the front of the building? Don't know about Tony's cellphone thing, but I hope it's not a mole. They did that, already. As for Saunders having it...well, he's Saunders...apparently he can do anything
