| Way back in Spring 2002 I saw promos for this show, just glimpses, it seemed like a copy of the West Wing. Thought nothing of it. After it was first shownfriends at school were talking about it. Still thought nothing of it. A couple of weeks later in March while doing some coursework took a break, made myself a coffee and switched on the TV, flicked through the channels then flicked to BBC2, there was this show split screens, brilliant picture quality and ambience. Hooked. The production qualities of this show are unmatched, no show on the planet looks as good. The way it is shot and edited is better than most movies! Then the storyline got me. Having missed the first 6 episodes it was hard to get into but the way it looked it didn't matter. I made sure I caught up with the show by watching the episode re-runs during the weeks between premiering episodes. Once I was up to speed with the plot, it was enthralling, nail biting, tension enducing, compelling vieiwng. You never know what is gonna happen. All charachter's except Jack, Kim and probably the President could turn out to be evil. The first season lead you along into thinking it was about assasinating Palmer, but it turned out to be about breaking a war criminal out of jail and then about stealing money. Season 2 took you down the wrong road again. You thought it was about the nuke, you thought they'd never let the nuke go off. Well this is 24, the nuke goes off. Jaw drops to floor. Then the bigger picture is revealed...it is about oil and starting a war in the middle east. 24 is a thriller which lives up to the word thriller. It is a stunning show with great acting by Dennis Haysbert and Kiefer Sutherland, special mentions also go to Xander Berkeley (Mason)and Sarah Clarke (Nina). It plays with your emotions so well, when you think things couldn't get worse, they do get worse. The directors are always willing to do the thing that is least expected. Season 2 had the angelic Marie turn into a crazed terrorist psychopath. Also Carla found dead in the trunk of Gary Matheson's car which Kim steals. Then there is Nina turning out to be true evil in Season 1 The show is great, and it is a travesty that it hasn't won many awards. The critics love it, it has a cult following and once it hooks you in, it won't let go, no question about it. 24 OWNS. |

| Elisha Cuthbert owns Amanda Bynes. As for what's so great about 24...Avaya said it all. Add to that the thrill of trying to figure out what Jack will do next. He's sheer badass, and it makes him one of the best characters on television. There's also the fact that they have a black president, but do not call that fact to attention. I thought that was interesting, and I like how they've made him so dignified and powerful. |

| Well I watched this one episode of the first season because my friend made me.. And I could not sit still for a minute, it was really boring. And I knew what was gonna happen next, so it was no fun at all.. As for Jack, I never liked him. The impression I got from the little I saw was not good.. The only person I liked a little bit was the daughter. But if you guys say it's such a great show I will watch it on Monday, and see if I change my mind... |

Avaya summed it up. It's not a show you can watch one episode of though. A lot happens in the hour and they don't really introduce characters, they'll just show something happening and the pieces fall together through the season. |

| Avaya has brilliantly summed up the essence of the show. I think that BM is right; one episode on it's own can be confusing. Each season is a like a 24 hour long movie. I remember seeing the second episode of season one a while ago I wasn't taken by it. I didn't think much of it until now then. I think that you need to start watching from the very beginning of a season to fully appreciate 24. @Comrade Loves Amanda Bynes: Why are you even here? You don't watch the show, and you clearly use looks as a basis for people you admire. I pity people like you. Besides, Elisha Cuthbert DOES own Amanda Bynes in every conceivable way. | Of course not everyone will like 24. I told my roomates to tape a season 2 ep. (the one before Jacks plane gets shot down) and they watched it and they we hooked. And as for knowing what was going happen next...I think that is utter b.s. yes there are times where anyone can see what is fixxing to happen but not all the time with 24. You expect everything to be summed up at a certain time and certain way. They throw so many curves and twist in it, it will piss you off some times. |

| I just watched one episode from season 2 yesterday (5:00-6:00 i think) and I must say I jawned atleast a couple of times. And like when Jack and Mrs. Palmer were arguing and just all of the sudden she spilled all she knew. And she acted badly. Quote:

| That's your opinion. Fine. However, this brings up one question: How could a Hayden Christensen fan, a fan of someone who is less of a thespian than most inanimate objects, criticise 24? From sheer objective quality, 24 blows everything that lifeless dummy has done straight out of the water. |

| Does it really matter whether you like it or not? why give it another try? If you don't like it and you haven't been able to see why others do then isn't it a little futile giving it another go? If you hate it, it dosen't get any better for you I'm afraid. The second and third series have been made to satisfy the people who liked the first one not really to attract entirely new audiences. |

| Doesnt she (nina) work for the germans instead of the russians? And if anyone thinks that The Amanda Bynes show is quality T.V. is sadly mistaken. That show is so so horrible. You know those signs that say APPLAUSE well there must be a sign that says LAUGH cause theres no way anyone could think that its funny. |
