A 24 THEORY!

For those of you that saw the teaser trailer for season three you know its about a deadly virus that spreading rapidly.
But remember at the end of season 2, when Palmer shakes hands with the hitman/woman, and he collapses with that nasty looking wound on his hand.
Well, my theory is that at the end of the second season Palmer was infected with that same virus (to see if it would work) and I am taking it that it didn't work since David Palmer is in the re-election. And it has taken the terrorist three years to get the plan started on the deadly virus.

Anyone one think this is a good theory?

That's a pretty good theory. It would be the only explanation I would accept for Palmer still being alive.
