| This info came from www.24addict.com. "I really don't like the last line from this article over at Dark Horizons :( Dennis Haysbert's David Palmer character will no longer be president of the United States. Instead, when the action resumes, Sen. John Keeler -- last seen trying to blackmail Palmer -- will be the new president. Geoff Pierson, who played Keeler in multiple episodes last season, will reprise his role for season four. It'll be a recurring part, however. Sutherland's Jack Bauer will no longer work for CTU". Meanwhile 'Regiment' drops in a few more details about what some of the jettisoned members are getting up to otherwise: "Everyone has been shown the door, aside from Kiefer. Elisha Cuthbert was asked to stay on, but she balked - having just signed a couple of lucrative movie deals. Elisha Cuthbert is in talks for a certain superhero film - sans the blonde - which just had a change of director. Reiko Aylesworth has joined the cast of "CSI in a recurring role next season. Carlos Bernhard (Tony) has also been keeping pretty busy and he himself has a couple of projects to go on with - including things he's developing, and Joel Surnow's doing a 24 feature DTV. They're going to be adding some big name co-stars to the mix though I hear. This is pretty much considered to be the final season. NooooooOOOOOOOoooooo!!" |

| I believe bery strongly that if they dont keep the same situations and characters they could have 6 more seasons and it still be a strong show......like it says in my first post Jake no longer works for CTU, in that case they can take the show to new levels. They can always put new spins on the show and still make it original. But honestly do you think this is true? 24 is probably one of the biggest if not THE biggest show Fox has so why would they get rid of it? Its their cash cow. |

Don't listen to or ever believe any hype. Nothing could ever live up to the hype that has been put into this next season. Take it for what it is, not what it's built up to make you believe it will be. Let's hope the show ends on a high note. I know that the first 1/3 of the season is rarely anything like the later portion of it. There is always some new threat or conflict introduced. And I agree with Lemmi, I don't wanna see 24 become The Simpsons in the case of Fox, or heck Buffy for the fanboys like d0rko. | I'm a die hard 24 fan. Watching it every Tuesday was like being wrapped in a warm blanket. However, it should have ended with 3 seasons. I can't imagine a 4th season being anywhere as good as the previous 3. When your going to end, you should end on top. |
