| If any of you ever get on the 24 forum you will know that I am a full-fledged die-hard 24 fanatic! I love it cause it has great acting, plots, twists, and turns. Always keeps me wondering whats gonna happend next. Plus I like the fact that they have a continuous story though out the whole season just not one story an ep. |

| I was reading in a I believe a "Cinema" mag. "The best shows to watch" It went somehting like: 1. Smallville 2. 24 3. (cant remember) 4. (cant remember) 5. CSI I just remembered those 3 cause I here so much about them. I respect your right not to like 24 but how many CSI's do need? They should have 24 New York...and if there is a CSI New York they should cross the shows into a storyline lol........I guess one reason I dont like CSI is because the look and feel isnt as intense and searious as 24, and I think 24 has a more thought out story line and the the show itself is a unique concept, actually probably trickier to pull off in shooting the show cause they are doing it in "real" time. I believe Fox has a lot of unique shows, in how they capture the story and betray it I mean. I always ask ppl this question but, what is your biggest prob. with 24. Mainly its that its "boring". I think 24 got "best drama" at the Golden Globes. And I will have to give Clucky credit when he said CSI is more to real life than most shows, escpecially 24, yes the crisis's L.A. has gone through could happen BUT, there is no way in hell it could really be rapped up in one day. I wouldn't say that 24 has a better thought out story line than CSI (smallville maybe). Thinking out the crime, crime scene, evidence, murderers and suspects sounds pretty hard to me. It all has to match in a way and us viewers have to "buy it". Can you imagine all the research that they have to do? They have to find out what effect things have on our body, and how it can be used as a murder weapon. As for shooting, I think CSI has a great angle to it. When they for example, go inside the body and shows us visually how it happends. And the playback are great aswell cause they give us a sense of how the crime happened. The fact that many of the cases are based on real cases gives the show a bit more credability. They also have real CSIs as consultations... All in all CSI is a great show and unique! :D | |

| I watched a couple of ep. of CSI this weekend. And nothing really impressed me. The replay of what happened has been done before. I enjoyed one ep. that has to do with a boxers death and so on...but other than that I didnt get a good vibe from it. Oh well to each his own...and sorry clucky about the callin oyu a guy. |

| I have been trying to watch CSI since I posted this topic. And I can't help but to find it boring. It doesnt satisfy my need for a long drawn out story. Solving each crime in each hour just doesnt leave me wondering whats coming next week like on 24. And the way it's shot and the way it looks is just plain crappy. I am very picky of camera movements, angles and cinematograpghy. [ April 12, 2004, 01:08 PM: Message edited by: VampireaciD ] |
