I caught on to the first season a little late - but I really enjoyed it. The format is a lot like AI, but the contestants generally have a more musical background (play instruments, write songs).

Anyway, just saw something on About.com that they have the contestants for the new season. I didn't know they were doing it again - but can't wait [img]graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img]

I'm not really a big country fan, but I got hooked on the first season of NAshvilel Star about half way through. I can't wait for the second season to start. Hopefully it'll be as good as the first.
