I think this is a GREAT show!!! Does anyone else watch it???

I watch it. I love it. That God sure has some interesting things to say. And Amber Tamblyn is kinda cute. That's probably mostly why I watch the show.

I think Amber Tamblyn is extremely talented. She carries the show, in my opinion, especially since I really don't like Joe Mantega, the father. Overall, though, the writing is great and its a really good show.

Yeah, I don't like him much either. I don't like those cop subplots too. I don't care if it ties in with what Joan is going through and what God says. It's not as interesting as the main plot.

I think he's one of the worst actors on TV at the moment...he's so stone. AT is good though :D

Yeah. It's an interesting show. I know it is some-what irrelevant, but I have found "Joan of Arc" to be quite interesting.

I think the show is really good. The only reason why I watch it is because Amber Tamblyn is one of my fave actresses. She is very talented and does a very good performance in the show.

The show is alright. But I can't really buy into the whole god relationship. It would have worked better if God were an Angel. But they actually got GOD himself! :rolleyes: Also Amber could stand to lose a few pounds. On tv it always looks like she's carrying a huge load back there.

That's so mean! Amber is gorgeous, and I'm a girl. So it counts. Lol.. but seriously, most girls would kill to look like her.

Anyways, back on topic. Anyone seen Friday's episode? I can't believe it. Adam and Joan. Ahh! I'm so excited. I always liked him, don't know why, not attracted to him, he's just so sweet and creative. [img]smile.gif[/img] This should create some good ripples, don't ya think? ;) lol

And yeah, even though I don't necessarily "believe" in God, I do find the show interesting. And it's so weird to think that her doing one thing could influence so much. She does carry the show. I find the cop parts a little boring, but still if it ties in... now her mom, as the counselor? or is she the secretary? Either way, they should make more about her. SHe does deal with a lot of people daily.

So what is everyone's opinions on it now that it's been going a while? No spoilers obviously..

The first episode was shown here last night, which I saw. I enjoyed it, but I wasn't blown away by it or anything though. I guess the biggest problem could be that it's a bit too gimmicky i.e. how long until the idea of God appearing to her gets boring and unoriginal? It's one of the reasons that Tru Calling sucks. Quantum Leap is the only show that I can really think of that pulled it off...

My English teacher loved it too, cause when it started we were studying a Joan of Arc play. She taped the first episode for us and let us watch it, and that's how I sort of got into it.
