Talk about a kink in the situation!! oh man.. vic's wife corin totally screwed him over by talking about the money. I had a feeling there was a setup when he questioned dannie about who she was sleeping with. Well.. the cat is out of the bag and apparently Vic has somehow acquired a lot of money. They won't get him for the murder of Terry.. now i'm feeling they will get him for the money. Just when I thought all this mess would be finally put to rest and we can get back to classic shield it just get's worse :( Dutch is worried about his partner because she's getting ill and it's evident watching that she's getting worse. I wonder if this means she will no more be on the show? Arg.. this isn't the last season is it? I could have sworn they signed up another season hehe. Next week looks interesting! Looks like it's spiralling to worse for Vic and the strike team

I think they're treating this as if it were the last season. I'm not sure if it's been renewed or if they even want to continue. This was a good episode, though. I love how they continue old storylines throughout the years, like Vic's relationship with Danni, and especially Kleavon the serial killer. I laughed when Dutch snuck out of the house and waved at the neighbor. Poor Claudette...lupus is getting to her. Let's hope she and Dutch finally nail him. I'm loving the game between Vic and Kavanaugh. He's clearly underestimated Vic, though. I wonder if Aceveda will help Vic in order to save his own skin. I know that the new rookie girl sucks as a cop, but I think Julien is being more of an ass<biga>hole this year than he normally is. Agree or no?

yeah juleen is on a hate path. I believe it is because she oozes her sexuality out while still being a cop and deep inside he isn't much of a fan for women. Even though he married and all.. he's still homosexual. I loved the part with him waving also haha.. cracked me up My theory is that Acevada is going to turn the tide. The reason is because of Vic misdirecting IAD into believing that there was some deals with him and Acevada. Hell he even said that to the lawyer. What I believe will happen, is that as they continue to investigate Acevada and believe there is something there, he will fight back, using his influence to shut down the case. This is the nature of David and something he'd definitely do to save his skin (like when he got that dude that was bribing him to be killed in prison). I could have sworn that they signed up 2 more seasons and while this is directing towards the last I just don't know if it is.. because I haven't read anything that said it was the last season. Question is, with Claudette's illness, will she be leaving this season?

2/21. I don't know about you guys but I'm starting to get tired of this whole IAD thing. I mean yes it's interesting what's going on and how everything is screwing over Vic. I guess I don't like it because that's what is happening. The whole team is doing their own thing when they should realize.. vic has a way of deflecting problems. I guess I don't mind it so much as I want the team out there snatching cases. When it worked with that other team, I dug that. Claudette owned that serial killer. She straight up got him to confess when she didn't have a case. Dutch had to push and prod her, it was a shame to see her collapse on the stairs. You know Dutch felt bad being a prick to her just before. I seriously don't know if this is the last season. I don't think it is because I haven't read anything mentioning it. Still everything is hitting the fan. All in all, I bet the actors are having a blast with a change in their characters.

Dude, this last episode was awesome! How can you not like it? What's making it so interesting is all the double-crossing, deals, and lies build upon each other. One thing I like about Kavanaugh is that no matter what Vic does to him, like sleeping with his ex-wife, Kavanaugh just finds a new way to make his life miserable. The team is really just getting what's coming to him, but you can see Vic's conscience is starting to wear him down. Everything Kavanaugh says about him is true, and Lem is paying for it. I thought Shane showed more heart in this episode than he has for a long time. The whole botched deal with Antwone was great. I'm glad that Claudette is finally captain, and it was also nice to see one of her righteous rantings come back to bite her. Now, I like her righteousness most of the time, but she should have known that Dutch is the last person who would put her career in jeopardy. I'm also glad they're bring Julien's conflict with his sexuality back. Will the sexy rookie wash out or will she become Dutch's new partner? At least let them hook up. Dutch doesn't get a tenth of the action Vic gets. He gets Gina Torres AND Laura Harring? I want to be a cop.

Heh I just found this thread. I'm a HUGE fan of The Shield. SPOILER FOR SEASON FINALE~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~ You were warned ~~~~~ I've always hated Shane, and now I really hate him!!! How the hell could he kill Lem! We're definitely going to see more of the El Salvadorans next season, I just wonder if Shane can keep his ass out of a sling now... And Cavanaugh, God I hope something horrible happens to that prick. This has been my favorite season to date. Every single episone was intense.

nooooo!!! I missed the finale and i'm so pissed about that. Arg when will they reshow it? I must see! I love the shield but this new season kind of bugs me too, ya know? I miss the good times where they just busted people using unorthodox means. But you know this show is mounting for a true finale. Next season is the last season I believe

They'll repeat sunday night. Don't miss it! Yeah I understand what you mean Trine, the second season is one of my favorites too, with his clash with Armadillo. The problem with sticking with the same format is it'll run the show down. The writers are doing a great job to keep the show driven and intense.

well next season is the last. That's why everything is going the way it is. See it was the 4th and 5th season that had it more focused on the legal crap instead of catching the criminals and getting their end. Second season was great man, third still my favorite though I knew shane would do that. I had a feeling he would either sell out the team or get them killed
