| I personally loved star trek the next generation. Very good episodes, cast is awesome, quite a bit of deep thought, good action, etc... However voyager was mmmmmm ok. It definantly had its good parts like the entire last season "cause it involved a lot of the borg". Enterprise was a huge dissapointment, who the hell needs a prequel. The only people who watch star trek are people who love sci-fi, and those who love sci-fi and watch star trek already know the history of it so why the prequel :( I beleive they should come out with a star trek based 50-100 years AFTER voayger/next generation and have it be about this: The whole galaxy for the most part has to ban together "federation, cardasians, brien, romulin, ferangi etc..."to fight the ultimate race who have rebuilt there empire and they are on a non stop ticket to taking over all that is not them.... THE BORG! Think about how many cool and unique characters you could have if all the races were allies to fight the common enemy, the borg. Of course you would have betrayls and such but the action, story line and cast would be awesome :D |

The Prequel Movie that is suppose to be being made has been put on hold yet again & that is suppose to be the very last "Star Trek" Movie too. |

| Star Trek needs to find a way to connect w/the younger fan base. Not too many people that aren't Trekkies know much about Star Trek TNG much less how influencial the original series was. I heard they were talking about doing a series that took place when Kirk and Spock supposedly first met in the Academy which would have been right on target but they'd need to move it forward quite a bit in time for something further in the future for the other fans to get interested. I think maybe a 180 is in order for the series to be interesting again. My idea would be to break down the Federation somehow by internal strife, some sort of betrayal, or something else that would cause a defection and feuding cultures again. Add in an appropriately-timed Borg attack on them all and you could spend seasons seeing why the Federation was important to form in the first place w/out prequel nonsense. It would be crowning achievement for what Roddenbury envisioned all countries working together for the good of all could do, I think, and a good send off for the whole saga. Enterprise should by no means be how they should go out. |

| actually they said they will do another tv series. Although this will be 4 years away from now. They say the fans are tired of the series that's why the wait. Between that time they say they will release another movie which will be a prequel. My proposal would be to continue the Future series. This is crap to keep going in the past and doing early episodes. One of the best seasons of deepspace 9 was the final 2 seasons. Anyone know why? Because they were at war. What happened to the kickass space trouble that used to be? It seems like star trek is bored and all they do is go to the same dumbass planets and make deals. Voyager at least explored new planets and had interesting episodes especially when they met the borg and the that species that kicks the Borg's ass. It isn't like there's not any enemies that they can have? Since the Klingons are cool with the federation.. perhaps it's time to step up the Romulans as teh bad guys. Maybe get more evil races out there with far more destructive powers. Couldn't there be an equally powerful race that believes in total domination? Something that fights the borg but also the federation? Personally I don't like the borg much because they make them so plain and less scary then they could be |
