E! Online spoke to Amy Acker about both her upcoming role in Alias and the possibility she'll return as Illyria in a Spike TV movie.
For Alias, she will appear in at least three episodes and most of her scenes are with fellow newcomer Rachel Nicols. "I don't know what's gonna happen, but what we did so far, we're friends who work at this agency together. I think the Shed is what they were [calling it]. She's a rookie agent, and I have a little more experience than her, but we're best friends."
Acker added that she spoke with Joss Whedon about returning as Illyria from Angel in the possible Spike TV movie. "I talked to him a couple weeks ago and said that I had heard that Tim Minear was gonna write and direct the Spike movie, the Spike-Illyria movie, so he said that they want to do that still."
The fifth season of Alias premieres on ABC this Thursday, September 29 at 8/7c. |
