Stargate Question

OK, so to the guys who watch SG1, i've been re-watching S8, and the episode where Daniel is in the coffee place and has to choose whether to ascend or die (again) there's something that confuses me.

The fat guy who turns out to be Anubis, i thought Anubis was a Goauld, so wouldn't he have been a snake thing? Not a human? Or was it just Anubis' taken form in that place, was the fat guy just a representation of Anubis' former unascended self?

But then, surely he would still have been a snake? Why would they want to let a snake-y Goauld ascend when they're so obviously evil, especially Anubis, i dont care how much he tricked that woman who helped him, they must have watched him....lil help?

Anubis tricked Oma Desala into helping him ascend without her knowing he was a Goauld. She & the others(Ancients/Ascended) only found out after he Ascended. That is basically what he might have looked like if was human or what he looked like in his human host.

He is trapped between being a snake & ascended. He lives in the real world & on the Higher Plain. They do watch him all the time but the ONE MAIN RULE the Ascended/Ancients have is NOT TO INTERFER IN THE HUMANS FATE. Oma Desala has been doing little things against the others(Ancients/Ascended) Orders in order to fix the mistake she made by helping Anubis Ascend. That is why she saved all the people on Abydos when Anubis destoryed the Pyramid, people, & Stargate. Also why she helped Daniel Jackson Ascend in order for the people of Earth to fight Anubis & have the Knowledge of the Ancients. When Daniel was fighting Anubis on his mothership Oma was the one who stopped him & took him away in order so she could return him to the real world with the Ancient Knowledge.

I doubt he would have picked that guy as a host... but anyway, that clears it up a lot.

True. It looks like the Ori are a lot stronger & more powerful than the Ancients. I'm thinking just like it looks like there will be a Civil War between the Goauld there will be a Great Battle between the Ori & the Ancients.

Here is what I found:

"Stargate: SG-1" commences at 8 pm on Tuesday, 18 October 2005
"Stargate: Atlantis" commences at 8 pm on Wednesday, 19 October 2005

It's the only thing I could find for them.

it is sort of slow. Ironically on atlantis it is fast but I don't like that bounty hunter guy

Very True.

I like Ronon Dex played by Jason Momoa. He looks like a Bounty Hunter but is really a Military Man & was captured by the Wraith & turned into a Runner for them to hunt for sport/practice after they invaded his home world.

Wish that revovler he has; which is really cool by the way; did exist in the real world because I would def own one if it was real among other things from the Stargate Universe.

I only watched the 1st few eps of Atlantis, but i couldnt really get into it, i watched one the other day and was completley lost so gave up. I probably should have tried harder in the 1st place [img]graemlins/ohwell.gif[/img]
