It began with Buffy The Vampire Slayer and continues today with hits like Smallville and Charmed. This fall, The WB will usher in a new generation of storytelling set in the dark world of the unexplained. Filmmakers McG (Charlie's Angels, The OC), Eric Kripke (Boogeyman), and Midas' touch director David Nutter are teamed to take audiences on the next WB thrill ride. Gilmore Girls' breakout star Jared Padalecki and Smallville's Jensen Ackles are Sam and Dean Winchester; two young brothers bound by tragedy and blood to a dangerous, "other-worldly" mission. Crisscrossing the country in their '69 Chevy Impala, they carry on their missing father's quest to seek out and silence the supernatural forces responsible for their mother's murder twenty years ago. A Warner Bros. Television Production Inc., in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision. From executive producers McG and Peter Johnson with writer/executive producer Eric Kripke and director/executive producer David Nutter (Without a Trace, Smallville, Band of Brothers, The West Wing, ER, The X Files). I cant wait till this show is gonna star. I've been waiting for years for Jared to get his own show on the WB. And Jensen Ackles is awsome to. I loved him on Dark Angel. It sounds like a show that I'm really going to enjoy. |

This is why I'm glad Supernatural will be aired on the WB. At least they don't screw their shows over. Also both Jared and Jensen are familiar with WB viewers, because they've appeared on several WB show. This gives them a step on the other shows that debute this year on the WB. |

| Some slightly new info has just been released from Entertainment Weekly that definitely decreases my interest in this show even more to almost the sum of zero (I guess they must have somehow sneaked a peak at the pilot or something..?). -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Entertainment Weekly (#821/822 - May 27, 2005 ) SUPERNATURAL ( THE WB ) From O.C. exec producer McG, this drama about two spirit-chasing brothers rolls out all the clichés-- like hot ghost chicks in flowing white dresses. Nothing's less satisfying than dull paranormal. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- To me personally, this show has very little potential if any at all (even more so considering it is being brought forth by people behind awful affairs like The O.C.).
