Did anybody happen to catch the premiere for this show? If so, what did you think of Lisa Kudrow? I was pretty impressed with her..haven't seen her in much besides Friends but I thought she did a great job with her new character Valerie...

Don't watch the show. When I heard about it, it sounded interesting. But when I saw a clip, her character reminds me of someone I can't stand. Just can't remember who she is right now.

Really? To me, her character seems insecure, but only b/c she hasn't been in the entertainment industry in awhile, so I'm sure it's a scary thing to get back into it. And from what I have seen so far - I think it's kind of cool to get the insider look at the entertainment world. But you didn't like it?

I have been watching and I have to say, I think this show is hilarious. Lisa is so great with the role - she totally pulls it off. Are you guys still watching?

I get the impression from others that most people hate the show. I find it oddly fascinating. It's not really funny. It's not really dramatic. The whole tone is really bizarre. Valerie is an extremely annoying character but there are some small instances on the show where you sympathize with her. I think the idea was to go for something similiar to the BBC show "The Office", but it's nowhere near as funny and Valerie is nowhere near as likable as David Brent. I have seen every episode of it though. And sometimes I'm not really sure why I like it.

"The Comeback" is my favorite TV show currently. I think Lisa is brilliant as Valerie... TC is the only show that can make me laugh and feel so awkwardly bad all at once... The most recent two episodes are the best so far... If you aren't watching this show, you really need to!
