LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - CBS is developing a reality series to be hosted by "Saturday Night Live" alumnus Jon Lovitz, who currently has a guest-starring role as a billionaire on NBC's "Las Vegas."
The untitled series would incorporate elements of the game-show and hidden-camera genres in which Lovitz would set up unsuspecting guests in outrageous situations. One proposed segment would team a contestant with a pro golfer who would offer strange advice with a little help from Lovitz. A pilot will be shot in Las Vegas this month.
Lovitz last was seen on CBS in a recurring role on the short-lived 1985-86 sitcom "Foley Square." |
