America's next....eating disorder?

today they started with the third "america's next topmodel"

i watched everything from the first one, and maybe 3 or 4 episodes of the second one but since i didnt watch anything but desperate housewives and that stopped i guess i will be watching this as well [img]smile.gif[/img]

did you notice there are always at least 2 who are incredibly skinny? i always wondered did they starve themselves before they went and got on the show or is it, what they say, they're bodytype?

do you think this is a good show? i mean i always find it fun to watch and the girls are always so spontaneous but i can imagine other girls who start comparing themselves with the models and they're all so thin.... [img]graemlins/ohwell.gif[/img] the girl who scared me out most on todays ep. was 1.81 and 52 kgs. i think that's 5'11 and a half and 112lbs :eek:

I don't think it's good but people are watching it so of course they will push and make more. Just like those plastic surgery shows

Two? How about all of them. I remember watching a show where a girl who could only be described as normal was called "too fat" by everyone on the panel. What a bunch of half-baked morons. They should be put in jail for saying something like that on television. Don't they know someone might be watching, and that this person might actually believe them?

hahaha actually you're right. but we've already gotten used to the fact all the american girls are skinny so normal girls look fat when you compare them to the for america normal, but for the rest of the world skinny girls. but the girl i was talking about, the 1.82 and 52 kgs, there was also another girl, Eva, and she was like, "eww put more clothes on you look discusting i cant look at you. you will never have a boyfriend or have sex or get married because you're so ugly." that was kinda harsh

@rah, yeah you're right. it's the one where that black girl with red hair throws a glass of beer to another girl in a bar [img]tongue.gif[/img] fortunately she didnt get in with the last 20.

you're from Ireland right? are you seeing the same season as we do? cuz i know for instance America has already seen it. i made the mistake to check out the official website ( i wanted to read more about the winner of the first ANT, Adrienne Curry) and now i know who is gonna win :( but dont be scared i wont spoil the fun for the rest of you :D i wont tell.

The episode I saw was the first episode of the latest season. The hottest chick there, called Mary, didn't make it. She was normal-looking (or as they call it on the show, "plus size").

i saw it thursday again and Cassie do has a eating disorder! she is boulimic (sp?) and she told that to Amanda and Amanda told it to everbody and than Cassie comes and says 'i cant remember the last time i throwed (sp?) up' and im like you told it and now you say it isnt so anymore? how sad are you than?
