Blu-ray.com has a listing for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen that seems to indicate an October 24th, 2009 release date for the Blu-ray and DVD disc release of the movie. This has not been officially confirmed by Paramount but the first movie was released on October 16th, 2007 so there is precedent for the quick turnaround.

What exactly was the intent with Arcee? Is she supposed to be one bot in three bodies, or three separate bots, or what?

Roberto Orci: Wrote her as one who made up of three. Bay kept them as individuals.
(TransformersLiveBlog: On the bright side, even with one of the three dead, they were never named or directly implied to be separate so the third film could go with the writer's original concept with ease.)

So a SPY SATELLITE who can see everything seemed like an interesting update. We considered a super rigged up audio kind car and, of course, it's original boom box form.

...not vocoding Soundwave's voice is an incredible injustice/mistake. How hard did you go to bat for this? Soundwave's "look," personality, and his voice are the three top iconics on him.

The latest spectacular adventure in the wildly popular TRANSFORMERS franchise will make its highly-anticipated DVD and Blu-ray debut on October 20, 2009 in immersive, two-disc Special Editions, as well as on a single disc DVD, from DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures in association with Hasbro; distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment. Any news on when the third one will start filming? Probably not right now, seeing as Shia is filming a movie, but just curious.

Well, Paramount & Dreamworks want to release "Transformers 3" in 2011, BUT Michael Bay wants to release it in 2012.

Last I heard was that they went back to Hasbro Toys & were looking at all the Mythos that they have in their vault for Transformers & still trying to get a general idea for the 3rd Film.

So that all basicly means they probably won't start filming "TF3" until Mid/Late 2010 at most(maybe).

But it has already been confirmed by the actors, Bay, & both Movie Studios after the public release of "TF:ROTF" that it will definitely be made.
