No "Fantastic Four 3"?

We're not really surprised by Chris Evans' comments to MTV, because 20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios are leaning more towards a Silver Surfer spin-off with a script by J. Michael Straczynski than they are moving forward with a third Fantastic Four movie.

"I'm pretty sure we won't do [another] one," Evans said, adding that as far as he's concerned, it's "a closed book."

Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige last summer said the Silver Surfer movie had been "moved to the forefront" of discussions. And just last month, Straczynski said the spin-off will cover the origin of the character and will feature Galactus.

GOOD it ran it's course

It didn't have potential to be more than what it was. I hate fantastic four. almost as lame as superman

The second one was good, but I didn't like it too much. So I'm glad they aren't doing another one. A little bummed, though.

I thought both Fantastic 4 movies where pretty poor, I dont think I would even go to the movies to see a third one.

Superman had potential but it just wasnt good.

& what they did to Jess Alba turning her into barbie was even worth...

I know what you mean, Jessica Alba is THE primary source of what I think made FF2 so piss pour. She looked like a f*cking Porn Star, (some what like Jesse Jane) not Sue Storm. Her fake blue contacts were unnatural and creepy. The first time I saw her at the beginning all I kept thinking was, "I just wanna f*ck her brains out" instead of paying attention to the movie's story.

I'm sorry but Jessica really can't act, she's a cool person in general, but she can't act. I don't care that her character is a comic book one, she just isn't believable playing a super smart scientist. Her saying things like, "it has fundementally altered our DNA" it's like "Honey, SHUT UP, just don't say anything, your nothing but eye candy to us." The scene of her massaging Reed's shoulders, when she's wearing glasses, I kept hearing Porno music playing in my head, because seeing the way she looked, it's like the way porno movies start.
