| Member of Sylar's Army  |  the ones on the left and right are supposed to be the international teaser posters. i'm just wondering what the U.S. versions are going to look like. the poster i've been looking for is the one with the joker writing "why so serious". it looks like he's standing behind a glass door. either that or it was meant to leok like he was inside the glass casing the poster is in and he's writing all that on the glass. *hey i found it. i just wish it was of bigger quality. kinda creepy. | Mu nótahu | Jesus Christ. This **** is going to be epic. I would say that Dark Knight grosses huge opening weekend because of the anticipation and Nolan saving the franchise, much like Batman Returns, it will open huge. I see it going $100-125 million tops though. Mostly because it is opening against Space Chimps and Hellboy II and even Hancock will take some of the box office from it.  |

| Mu nótahu | Batman as a character archetype is probably one of the biggest achievements in graphic novel history. A character that overpowers his insanity with an infallible sense of right and wrong. Batman is used best when the writer understands that what makes Batman work isn't the fact that he's virtually unbeatable in a fight or that he's the world greatest detective, but the fact that he is unquestionably human. Yet, he has perfected his methods to the point where it isn't a mysterious power which makes him a superhero, but his all-to-human ability to use knowledge and ingenuity to BECOME a superhuman. I think Nolan is the only director who's really captured his natural element. |

Wickliffe was currently working on the Batman sequel, Batman: The Dark Knight (2008), due to be released in UK cinemas in the summer of 2008. He was killed while riding in a truck carrying a camera platform that crashed into a tree while following a stunt vehicle during a test run at a special effects facility in Longcross, Surrey, England on September 24, 2007.
