"Step Up 2"

Anyone heard about the sequel to Step Up? It's called Step Up 2 The Streets. And I am really excited about it, Valentine's Day 2008 is when it comes out. I'm a big dance movie fan (Save the Last Dance, Center Stage, Dirty Dancing, the list goes on...) so I'm hoping there are some more dance fanatics out there who can be excited for this with me!

This is one of my favorite movies! I love dance movies, too. Will it have the same cast back?

Nope, a different cast, Robert Hoffman of MTV's Wild 'N Out fame and the female part is Briana Evigan. Channing Tatum (!) is making a cameo though. I can't wait to see that. This is how I first heard about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPj1a...1DF919&index=0

What's a cameo? And not sure if I'll watch it because it won't have the same cast, but I might if it looks good and has good dancing.

A cameo means that a person makes a brief appearance in the movie. So Channing will be in it, but not a major character. I think the movie will definitely have some cool dance scenes. This video shows the director talking about the dancing in it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZI8USiZj8M

Step it Up was actauly a much better movie then I though it was going to be.

Robert Hoffman and Channing Tatum where actualy recently in a movie together.

Yea, I believe that was "She'sThe Man." So this is their second movie together. But this time, Hoffman is the lead. I heard Channing's cameo is going to be pretty insane, though. They'll be using trampolines or something...
