"James Bond: Casino Royale"

Didn't see a thread about this so I figured I start one. I'm really looking forward to this movie. The fact that the script is adapted from an actual Ian FLemming story really reinforces my beleif in this movie. I want a return to the classic bond flicks, I've been disappointed with the last few.

One of the best Danish actors is in it: Mads Mikkelsen. I'm going to go see it because of him, I can't wait. He is so hilarious, and he can play any part. I don't know about his accent and acting in English films. He's okay in I Am Dina, but King Arthur...I don't know. I guess he was pretty cool, even though he got some bad comments.
If any of you could see, and understand, his Danish films...I don't know who I could compare him to. Jim Carrey maybe, without being the funny guy all the time, just funny and a really good performer.

I don't care much for James Bond books, or films, but when I rewatched Die Another Day(it was shown in tv), I had to admit; it was pretty cool.

I'm very excited, they have a fresh guy playing bond, and chance to totally revamp the series on Daniel Craig's shoulders. They can go so many ways with this one.

They've already confirmed Daniel will be playing Bond again in the Next Bond Movie.

I read that today. I'm definitely looking for Casino Royale to start a new series of Bonds kind of in the same vein as Connery, a long series of solid movie after solid movie. Brosnan started well, but ended poorly IMO.

I heard that the set that they used to film burned down last week. That's crazy. Thank god they finished first!

Can't wait for this one. And for the record, I think Daniel Craig is a great choice. A suave brit who packs a punch is exactly what they need..that's Craig.

I don't know if anyone's seen the original Casino Royale with Peter Sellers, Woody Allen and Orson Welles. Now that movie is one screwed-up flick.

Yeah, I saw the pictures of Pinewood studios on tv. The burned down stage and all.
Very sad, that place is old. The Alien films were filmed there too!

Pinewood will rise from the ashes as it did after the 1984 fire.

Casino Royale 67 *PUKE* and Never say never again aren't legit Bonds as they were not made by EON productions ;)

CR is also the last of Flemings books to be movie adapted , they've already used the other books...

Yes, they've used the other books, but I actually think Casino Royale was the first book he wrote. I'm pumped though, a lot of other films were simply screenplays from Flemming's characters, but this one is actually a book itself. That bodes well for the storyline.

It does look awesome!! I think this is going to be better than the Brosnan Bond movies. I didn't think I would like Craig that much, but he seems like he did a great job!

Ohh...I also found a cool new game that they have posted online for the movie. I played it this weekend with a friend. It's pretty cool, you all should check it out!
